Bad service. Staff were rude to us. We bought rice and beans, there was not a single bean in our plate and the rice was overcooked. The beef in their food is very low quality, chewy and fatty almost no meat at all and the cheese was also pretty bad in texture and flavor.Totally not worth the price. We went in thinking it was going to be nice since we love authentic Mexican food, but this was not worth our time or money at all.
While we are regular patrons and always enjoy our meals here. I wanted to praise the owner/ manager of this restaurant for providing an act of kindness. Earlier this week, my husband was nearing the restaurant during the early morning when we were having a major downpour. He saw the manager turn into the parking lot and saw what appeared to be a veteran in a wheel chair sitting in the pouring rain. The owner/ manager, who was nicely dressed in slacks, jumped out of his vehicle as soon as he saw the man and pushed him through the parking lot to get him out if the rain. Thank you for caring for other people. The world needs more people like you. Thank you!
I really tried with this restaurant, I’ve been 3 times in the past month and have had a pretty offputting experience each time; although the food is decent I have to give them a 1 when it comes to customer service. The first time me and my husband went we stood at the door for ten minutes while a manager and 2 waitresses kept walking past us as if we weren’t standing there! The second experience was just about the same but with a longer wait time, I understand being tied up but the restaurant was just about empty! Third experience which was tonight and the final straw, we walk in at 9 and instead of being greeted by an employee, instead we were greeted by a group of people standing at the door, they were loud and drunk and just so happen to let us know the restaurant was closed for the night, mind you their was lady walking in and out of the restaurant with a Modelo! Just on customer service alone; I can’t and won’t return back to this restaurant!
Good food and friendly staff. The staff came did a little song and free dessert for my 90 year old aunt. Overall a nice experience.
We went here on a recommendation. The food was mediocre at best and the place still has a smoking section. We must be spoiled by the Mexican restaurants back home because we love Mexican food but will never go to this place again.
This restaurant is a good place to eat. Lots of variety and excellent food. The waitstaff is very helpful and attentive.
I don't normally write reviews if I've only been once but I've been to this place three times or more only because other people want to go but today was the icing on the cake.. as usual I like the fajitas but there's were very thin tough as nails and dry and this is not the first time but what really made it horrible is the smoking people were smoking in the restaurant on the other side? do they not know smoke travels?? It made my stomach turn so bad I thought I was going to get sick I had to leave. The only thing great about the place was the service was good
My friends and I met up here for happy hour. Margaritas and apps sounded real good after work. When we arrived it was a ghost town. We were able to choose our own seat so we chose a booth in the back. There was a funny sour smell, nats flying around us and the table where I rested my arm was sticky. We wanted the elote ? they were out. I wanted the bean dip but wasn’t sure, the server said he would bring me a sample! So cool. When the sample arrived I tried the dip with a chip and the beans were sour. Definitely expired. Then I had some chips with the salsa, the salsa wasn’t bad but the chips tasted old or perhaps just the grease they were fried in was. I requested some fresh ones, the server returned to advise me that the kitchen said those are fresh and they wouldn’t make me new ones. We then ordered a chimichanga and some tamales to share and both were a huge disappointment!! The chimi was smaller than 6 inch, it appeared to look like a quarter compared to the giant plate it was on. The tamales tasted like the hormel branded ones out of a can. We also tried the shrimp cocktail, to my surprise it was actually good. The drinks were not to bad but very sweet, I tried the tamarindo margarita, the sangria one and the original top shelf and the original was by far the best. Overall, I wouldn’t return. The service and food was as bad as a one legged man at a butt kicking contest. So many more options around the area, don’t waste your money.
Enjoyed our supper while visiting Biloxi. Good food, great service and drinks. Would have given 5 stars but booths were so tight.
I came in with family and order 2 for $24 fijita platter, it was plenty of food but not too much taste at all. Service I was great and everything hot. I suggest some seasoning or bring your own.
