You know a place is good when you eat the green beans first! We had the fried pork chop lunch special and it was the largest, juiciest, tastiest that I've ever had. You could tell who ordered the pork chop special because when they got their order they couldn't believe how big it was. The mashed potatoes were a nice addition. We'll definitely come back.
Food absolutely delicious. Very generous portions, especially for the price. I ordered the catfish lunch special with fried okra. Portion size was enough for two people or lunch and dinner. Casey (hope I spelled her name correctly) had an inviting, warm and friendly demeanor. Would definitely recommend.

Really nice people. The prices are very reasonable and the food is excellent. Made fresh when you order. I'd eat here everyday if I could. Delicious home cooked taste. Service is excellent with a very nice waitress, just as sweet as punch! I love this place!
My wife and I had lunch at CJ's on a Tuesday and both of us opted for the Country Fried Steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. You have a choice of white or brown gravy for the steak and potatoes - we got white on both. Back in our home state of Texas this would have been called Chicken Fried Steak but a rose by any other name.... The steak was as good as we've ever had - very large round steak with just the right amount of seasoned breading. The potatoes were creamy and the white gravy had a good flavor. The green beans were seasoned perfectly. Our server and all the other employees were cheerful and very helpful. We will definitely be returning, and while we would like to try some other items on the menu, it might prove impossible not to get the same meal we just had.
Love the All you can eat Catfish... great Fried Dhrimp or Royal Reds. Well, all is good there. Great prices and friendly staff!
Ordered seafood feast. Grilled shrimp tasted burned because grill needed cleaning. Crab cake had very little crab and no flavor. Oysters and fish were ok. Baked potato was old and that orange color. Hush puppies were frozen from package. Come on now how hard is it to make hush puppies?
We ordered the seafood platter and all you can eat catfish and everything was great. Waitress was very nice. Will definitely go back.
