Stopped in to get a quick bite. Even though half the restaurant was empty, it was a 45 minute wait. Like many establishments, they have staff issues. We went to the bar where they also serve food. We split an order of calamari (which was disgusting) and we both had a cup of soup. My husband said the clam chowder was so-so. I had the gumbo and it was great.
Had been to Bubba Gumps before was outstanding. on 5/17 we went to Bubba Gumps DUMP in Biloxi. 15 minutes waiting for a hostess to seat us, 4 girls up in the bar area doing nothing 2 employees sweeping. Finally someone comes and says I'll seat you...still wasn't hostess as she appeared 20 minutes later ! Sat down. waited 26 minutes.....nothing. Still the fat asses behind the bar doing nothing. This was 7:15 PM and only 2 other tables had patrons. maybe 8 people at the bar. Finally another girl emerges from the kitchen I assume and says I see youve been sitting here a while can I help you. We ordered. 30 minutes later.....NOTHING. We asked how much my sweet tea was......3.75 so I gave them 4 bucks....shoulda laughed at their lazy worthless asses and walked out. So paid the tea and left. I will NEVER step foot in a BUBBA GUMPS DUMP AGAIN however, I will post this comment on EVERY review site I can possibly locate. At 59 years old, this was by far the most pathetic service and experience I have EVER had at ANY establishment, including fast food [email protected]!
It's just good ole seafood from the Gulf. We wanted to dine in but our toddler was too excited to sit for long so we took it to our suite. We ate there twice because it's good seafood. I've heard that some of the wait staff inquires the guests on their knowledge of Bubba Gump. The atmosphere and vibe are a must try if you like seafood
Went to Golden Nugget and Bubba Gump Shrimp. We were excited because we thought it would be a great place to eat. I ordered Mama's fried Chicken and my husband ordered Salmon. My chicken was burnt and over cooked. The only thing I ate on my plate was the corn. My husbands salmon was dry. I don't think I will be going back to Bubba Gumps.
Stopped in for lunch. Ordered the Run Across America Sampler. It was delicious! Fried shrimp, seafood hush pups, chicken tenders, bubba's far out dip was THE BOMB!, tortilla chips, cocktail sauce, chili ancho aioli, maker's mark bourbon sauce. You can sit inside or outdoors. They had the balcony area open to the bar and restaurant area which made it so comfortable and relaxing. Will definitely return. The bartender was awesome!!! I wish I had gotten her name. All staff here are hard workers!! Great place!
I know everyone is having problems with staff but I waited over hour for a take out. Fish and shrimp and when I get up to my room (in the same hotel) my food was ice cold
The food was great. They had nice options. The service was the worst I’ve ever experienced anywhere. Our waitress was Shay. She had bad service from the beginning. No intro of herself. No “Hello how are you?” Just an “Are we ready to order?” Someone else brought us our silverware. Shay brought our food and never came back until time to pay. No refills. No checking on us. No conversation. She walked by when we were done, sat our ticket on the table, and walked away. Didn’t ask if we wanted to split it or anything (there were 4 of us only 3 ate). We had to yell at her for her to come back and split it. Brought the 3 tabs out, sat them on the table, and walked away again; didn’t hand them to anyone. One of us asked for a refill on water. She stared in his face for a good 5 seconds, said nothing, and walked away to clean another table. We found a manager from the bar who just kept apologizing for the inconvenience. Shay came out with a cup of water, saw us talking to the manager, and claimed she clearly said she was bringing it out. Which was not true, then started to argue with us in front of the manager who was way too calm about the situation and didn’t know what to say. The place was not full at all being it was a little pass 8. There was no reason for this treatment. The rest of the staff seemed nice.
I will never eat at this restaurant again. The food was good, however, the service was horrible. The restaurant wasn't busy. It was 8pm. We ordered drinks while checking out the menu. No drinks served. All 4 of us ordered food at the same timeThe 2 people we went with were served their food. Still no drinks had arrived. Finally, after asking about our drinks, they brought them to us. Then our food arrived, after the people we were with, were done eating. Really? Who does that? To top it off...Bud light beer was $11.75 a glass. They people we were with, ordered a mixed drink.....and the drink was cheaper than the Bud light!! Make sure you ask how much their ripping people off on drinks. The prices weren't on the menu.
Reservations made but not put in the books. Waited 45 minutes. Got food then waited 10 minutes for silverware. Shrimp small and heavily breaded. Tempura Shrimp breaded undercooked, did not taste like shrimp.The dipping sauce that I do not like wasted in basket on my fries. Drink has a Free souvenirs cup to take. The receipt show $4 for drink and $6 for cup. Oh so I could have gotten drink only. No option given. Service terrible, asked for 2 to go containers, she came back with one. Had to wait again. Asked for dessert to go. Had to wait. Paid cash had to wait again on change. My suggestions Work Smart not Hard. Then it will be better for all included.
Had dinner here. All the staff was friendly and our waitress was awesome. Our dinners were hot and delicious.
