Absolutely LOVE this place. It was my second time ever having boba, and I expressed to the girls working there that my first experience was at a fair and was awful. They walked me through each flavor they had, their personal favorites, and let me try samples of all of the specialty boba to be sure I would get something I like!! So kind and patient, and the boba was absolutely AMAZING. This definitely is a new favorite place of mine and I will be coming back!!
Ohhh love the milk teas. Been into bubble teas lately and can’t decide which one I like best. Tii Cup is getting up there for me though.
I really do not enjoy this Tii Cup location. I’ve been going to Tii Cup (in general) for the past year and a half now. The Roseville location and the West Saint Paul location. The Woodbury location is the only one I’ve had a bad experience with. The staff are bluntly rude, passive aggressive, and do not have any sense of customer service. They aren’t friendly, even when it’s completely dead and I’m the only customer there. I’ve given this location multiple tries, brushing it off and giving their staff the benefit of the doubt, that maybe they’re just having a bad day. But unfortunately every time I’ve come to this location, I’m disappointed :/ I think the drinks themselves are very good but the staff definitely needs a wake up call. Until then, I wouldn’t recommend this location.
Beware masks required, not super obvious especially if you click the "Order Now button" on mobile and by now practically all businesses in the Twin Cities don't require them so I haven't been carrying one around for at least 3 months. Also they do not offer masks nor sell them to you at your own expense so I was very turned off by that.I don't care if businesses require masks by any means, but if you're not obvious about it and do not even have any for the customers when you're in the minority of businesses that still require them then it feels like a slap in the face when you are denied service especially when you are fully willing to comply with the rules. Employees were not friendly about it whatsoever. I hate to talk bad about a local chain but it is the complete truth.
After several times of going there and getting disappointed I made a decision to never come back at this place ever again. I understand we are at difficult times and being it a small business I tried my best to give few chances for this store but the service really SUCKS here. They have bunch of teenagers yelling and shouting at you and telling you the ridiculous policies of the store. The policies are changing almost every month. Couple months before they had the policy of taking orders and payments over the phone only and today when i told them” I was driving and on my way there and asked if they could take the order and the payment if needed So I could pickup, the girl denied to take the order and said they cannot accept orders over the phone yet all. I went in to order and all these girls yelled and shouted me for not wearing a mask and returned me back. Not being Karen but when you don’t need to wear mask anymore its easy to forget one. I don’t have any problem wearing a mask but if you are the only store that wants people to wear mask at least have some extras at the shop. I had to go back to my car and borrow my friends USED mask so I could order. With no consistent regulations and always changing their policies I cannot keep up with them and can’t go thru the inconvenience anymore.
if your going to require masks in a area that no longer requires individuals to wear masks in public you should at least be able to supply them if customers need one.
I love their Motiitos here! Super refreshing. Menu items are a little pricey ($6-8 per drink) but understandable with it being a small business and inflation right now. If you do go during a busy time, be prepared to wait, both times I’ve been there, they are short staffed, so be patient.Also note- as of March 2022 when this review was written, they are still requiring all customers to wear masks. They are very strict with their policy, If you are not wearing one they WILL make you go back to you car to get one.
I'm not a bubble tea connoseur, but I do enjoy it. As far as quality goes, it's alright. The selection is solid. The bubble waffle...not anything special.But they are quick and the employees are kind and you can order ahead of time. So they get points for that.
Super friendly staff. Amazing drinks. Just a heads up that this location doesn't serve the street food. Drinks, waffles, and biing are all delicious.
The sweetness is super manageable with the options they provided. I got less sweet and it was on the dot with the sugarary taste. Its to my liking.
