My favorite tea place! As always an amazing drink tonight. Green tea with pinneapple and with passion fruit jellies. Yum!
Ordered a mango smoothie and taro smoothie with pearls. Smoothie was watered down and lacked flavor. The Boba would constantly get stuck inside the straw. Very frustrating to drink through the straw. Lastly, this place will add 18% gratuity to your transaction and you physically have to take the tip off. I hate places that do this and they have 2 tip jars right in front of the registers as well.
The Signature Thai Tea that I had was very good, and I will definitely be back to try other teas here.The staff was extremely friendly, and we're running quite smoothly at a very busy time on a Saturday.

I used to drive from WI to this woodbury sencha in high school to do schoolwork because it was so cozy and nice! In college I frequented the st paul and mpls location for schoolwork as well! I haven't been to sencha since before the pandemic and when I moved back to woodbury I was so happy to have my old study place back!I tried to study there last week and it was so different! It looks like a gift shop now and there is no comfort whatsoever for anyone wanting to work on homework or work there. They don't even have a couch anymore!:( And all of the 4 tables only fit 2 people. The table I sat at was wobbly and my hot tea couldn't even safely sit on the table. Also there were flies everywhere!I think the employees are all sweet kids, and I love the variety of tea they have, I will definitely pick up tea here and there- but I really hope that someday they bring back the comfortable area for guests who want to work on there computers, or for friends to hang out.I just know there are a ton of people who work remotely or are in school that will probably choose a starbucks or caribou over this simply because of the seating area/comfort- even though sencha tastes way better!Giving them 4 stars because its literally perfect besides the seating area.

First time at Sencha Tea Bar, first time going to a tea bar period. Being a newbie, I let the young lady know I had never been to one and asked her to please explain what the difference was between some drinks, what would pair good with the base flavor of the drinks we were ordering (We had 5 different drink orders) and she was SUPER kind and knowledgeable about the products her company offers. Both employees were extremely kind and helpful and their customer service was above and beyond expectations. I am honestly ashamed of myself not getting their names now that I'm typing this review because I'd like for their boss to know what amazing employees they have. We visited the Sencha Woodbury location on 09/10/2021 at approximately 8:45 pm. Thank you ladies for being so nice and and making our first trip definitely become a routine thing!!! Our drinks were AMAZING!!!!
