The food was really good. Appetizer came out with our meal which was discouraging as the only reason I got the appetizer was to entertain my 2 year old as we waited. Food took a bit to come out, wasn't busy. Our waitress seemed pretty crabby and not wanting to be there. She was nicer towards the end but didn't send a good vibe at first.

First let me say, until yesterday we've always had excellent meals at Ray J's. Yesterday though, it was just awful. Our waitress was wonderful and the only nice part of our visit. She immediately realized we were unhappy with our meals and quickly moved to adjust the bill. The food was just horrible. My husband's Philly was served on what appeared to be a petrified hunk of bread. My broiled walleye had no seasoning whatsoever, and was so bland I'm not sure it wasn't Styrofoam. However the garlic mashed potatoes were so overseasoned they wouldn't have been edible even if they weren't the consistency of spackle.

Wings didn't even come with a side, just 4 chicken wings. The App never said how many wings, but I wouldn't have ordered them if I knew I was only getting 4 wings. Plus too salty.

very nice Easter buffet, would do it again.

This is a great place for a family meal or to hang out in the bar side to watch some sports. I have not had a bad meal no matter what I have ordered on the menu. That said… they are also known for their wings. The best in Minnesota!!

Called ahead to make reservations and when we got to the restaurant we went up and they said it would be a while still. 7+ families got seated ahead of us (all who arrived after us and had their names added to the list when they arrived) so we just sat and waited. I finally go up and ask what was going on just to find out that the lady gave our table away to a family who had arrived way after we did. 45+ mins of just sitting. They apologized for the mix up and assured us we would be next. After over a hour of waiting we finally get seated only to have our waiter be MIA the whole time and the food to be bland. The wings use to be absolutely amazing and now they have almost no meat and no flavor. Ray J's use to be our go to date night. Dont know if its new management or whats going on but Id highly recommend going elsewhere. And since I know the management will see this, I reached out a few weeks ago and heard nothing. We came in on 2/5 at 6:33. Our waiter was Gabby and we were table 14/1.

The food here is good, the service not so much. Our waitress took our order, and then she never came back to see how our food was or if we needed anything. We waited fifteen minutes for our check, after having to ask for it. I had to ask three times to get a to-go box. This is when they weren't busy! The service would have been better had she not spent the whole night standing and talking to one table. It's iffy whether we'll go back.

Food was average. Although the vegetable sides were delicious! Service was extremely slow and poor. We waited over 10 minutes for someone to even come to take our drink order. Then we waited another 40 minutes fir the fiod to come. The waiter did not ask if we wanted more water after coming to the table twice and seeing our glasses were empty. After 1 of us asked for another water he still never brought the other 3 of us more or even asked if we wanted more. We waited 15 more minutes after he brought the check to pay and the waiter came and took the order next to us, saw us standing waiting yo pay him and he still didnt take the money and walked away. I will skip RayJs in the future.

Have gone there after work a few times with coworkers. Always hopping. Great vibe and atmosphere. Happy/fun place.

Great place to hang for drinks and watch the game. Food is good too!
