Brinley put her soul into an avocado piada. I came a little late to pick up my order and was expecting a cooler more soggy piada but I was left speechless tonight. The wrap, chicken, and vegetables were crisp, the sauces perfectly placed with great proportions and the warmth still resonating. She deserves a raise.
Would choose zero stars if I could. I placed an online order at 12:30 pm, and the website stated that my order would be ready at 12:45. I arrived a little before that, so I sat down at one of their tables to wait. At 12:45, my order was not ready nor was it being made. Mobile order receipts were hanging from the printer being ignored. Finally, around 12:55 someone began making my order. The employee making the food wrapped up my order and set it on the counter next to the cashier who then ignored it for another five minutes. The cashier finally handed me my order, saying “Here you go,” not even a thank you or an apology for the wait. There were two other people waiting for online orders, and both were there longer than I was. One poor guy said he had been waiting almost an hour! I placed an online order so my food would be ready by the time I arrived, since I was on my thirty minute lunch break (which I was late returning from due to their poor service). I understand that they were busy and had lots of customers ordering in person as well, but what’s the point of ordering online if it takes longer than it would have to just walk in and order. Not worth the hassle for an average, overpriced meal.
I love the food but the ordering process is really bad. I always order online since sometimes the in-store wait can be really long. If the store is really busy, sometimes it takes 90 minutes or more to even fill online orders, and there's no way to know the wait time until after you have already entered your order and clicked submit. I understand places get busy and short-staffed, but it would be helpful if they would tell you the estimated wait time before you take the time to create the order, especially if it's going to be over an hour.
Is there a new management? I've been to this place before COVID and it always has been great service. We placed a order online, order stated ready. We got to the store the manager said she didn't see the order and missed it. Our food wasn't ready. When she started making the burrito I notice they weren't heat pressing it and she didn't apply the olive oil flavoring onto the bread as before. I went up immediately and asked, manager said the machine to press the burrito bread was broken! And she said she doesn't even apy the olive oil flavoring anymore?!!! Cutting corners, not telling customers about a broken press. She said it was too expensive for them to replace it?! Wth, I told her she needs to state that on their website. Then she didn't even have our order ready!!!!! Wow won't go back. All she did was a refund too after wasting our time to come to the store and food wasn't even ready.
josh, maggie and aisha went above and beyond in the middle of a crazy rush to accommodate my celiac. they changed gloves, washed their hands and brought fresh lettuce out. i really appreciated the extra effort and would recommend to anyone else with celiac. salad was delicious as well :))
Fast food vibes. The food is a little heavy. We tried the chef's special with hot fried chicken and the carbonara with Italian sausage. The Piada had good flavor. The pasta gave me Noodles & Co. vibes. Overall, pretty good food, and we are open to trying it again.
My wife and I eat here once every couple of months or so and it is always good. Their service suffered a bit during Covid and the jobs situation, but they really have stepped it up recently and ordering on the app before you get there is the way to go. We get the bowl meals, so I cant speak to the wraps or pasta. The bowls are very good. The vegies seem fairly fresh and have great taste. They put in a good amount of meat (even though I order extra). It is a very filling meal and they do not skimp on the portions. The flavor of all the vegies together in the bowl is really good. The fried calamari is really good too.
I’d rather go to chipotle for almost double the size. They made me pay for the regular size and gave me the small bowl cuz they did not have lids for the regular large bowls. She told me that it’s the same since they don’t usually fill the regular large size anyway!
This place is wonderful in almost every regard, I come here almost weekly and Meggie has my order down perfectly. Everything tastes great and I am through in barely a couple minutes. It also helps me settle down after my workouts and relax on my weekends during these trying times, thank you for this extra spark in my life.
