Something is going on. Been going there for years with each visit going down hill. It makes me sad because they have the potential to be busier than Panda Express. I agree with other reviews that everything is swimming in excessively salty and sweet sauce. Proteins and even vegetables are too limited. Portion sizes of entrees appear to have shrank as well. I hope they change for the best and don’t leave fast casual Asian style food to just Panda Express.

My family has been going to Pei Wei for years, but we are never going back again. We were incredibly disappointed with the quality of the meals - clearly something has changed since the last time we visited. First, we got 3 incorrect meals before getting our correct orders. The quality of the chicken was poor as it was gelatinous and the entrees were doused in sauce. The upcharged $2 plus noodles were literally just plan boiled noodles and the fried rice was mushy and flavorless. We only got a few bites into our meal before we had to throw it away as the only way I can describe the flavor was “sewer-y”. For a $30 meal, I expect the quality to be much better and it used to be!We are still dealing with the bodily after effects of the meal two days afterwards. I attempted to contact Pei Wei through their website DURING our meal at the restaurant because it was that bad, but it’s been two days and I still haven’t heard from them.

Normally love Pei Wei, but had a bad experience yesterday. Ordered pot stickers and Kung pao chicken to dine in. Went to the bathroom while I waited with my number at my table. I kept waiting for awhile and finally noticed my food sitting at a different table, getting cold. There were only two other people in the restaurant at 6 p.m. so it shouldn't be hard to find my table. The pot stickers were cold and the kung pao was lukewarm, however, I was in a hurry and ate the cold pot stickers and lukewarm kung pao. In addition, the Kung pao did not have much chicken and a LOT of sauce. They were skimping on chicken. I let the person in charge know about the cold food and he said he would have given me new pot stickers if I told him, but not sure he would with my attitude. I was upset because of the mix up. The place was literally empty and they put it on the wrong table. The workers there were absolutely checked out.

Was there for lunch with friends. Ordered the Thai Basil Cashew Chicken. The food was delivered to our table fast and hot. The food was spiced well, the portion size was good, and there was plenty of chicken and cashews in the dish. I mentioned to the manager, when he stopped by our table that the dish lacked Thai Basil (which I really like). He agreed and he made sure I left satisfied with my food order. My friend’s food was made to their liking. We will be back again.

The the customer service has gone down hill, or maybe cheff attention. I recently ordered An online meal for my family. Upnon my husband picking it up he checked the bag. He had to notify the staff the edamome was missing. Which was corrected promptly. He then returned home with my meal and I paid extra for broccoli in my meal /no broccoli in the dish. He then opened his dish wich we paid for an upgrade of fried rice / he received white rice. The food taste was amazing but for what we pay we should receive the requested menu options or just not paid for add ons/extras.Disappointed as I used to frequent this place often in St. Louis Park.

We tried the Thai soup this visit and it was very disappointing and very bland. No hint of the lemongrass or basil flavor advertised as being in the broth it tasted like bland weak chicken broth. Other dishes were just OK. Also tried the green beans, which were OK, but a bit too sweet. My lettuce wraps were also missing the bed of crispy noodles the chicken was supposed to come with.

That was hands down, one of the most pleasant experiences I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time! Like damn, everybody was suuuuper cool and attentive. Think the owner was there too and was engaging, being all cool. It’s snowing real bad rn, they all made sure to wish me safe travels. That was just cool af!

Shawnee is the absolute best! Everytime I come here she’s so pleasant and accommodating! Love the service! ♥️

Wow, it was pretty disappointing. I've loved this place for years and go way out of my way to go here, but probably not in the future. I love that they have gluten free options, but was very nearly given glutenous food this visit. Luckily the cook clarified that entree did indeed contain gluten, so I switched our order. What we got instead was Pei Wei Spicy with rice that was absolutely swimming in sauce. So much sauce. Like enough that we took it home, added more chicken and rice to it and fed three more people with it.

Very friendly, fast service. Wide array of menu options, including rice noodles, cauliflower rice, and several tofu-bases entrees. Food tasted fresh and well-seasoned.
