I’ve been to this Davannis quite a few times and it’s always average or even good, but I had maybe the worst pizza I’ve ever had tonight. I’m giving 2 stars because the manager was nice and gave a refund. The pizza was delivered with the cheese off like it had been dropped, the dough was very underdone and flavorless, and the sauce, cheese and toppings were sparse. I could barely eat it. The cheese bread was also underdone and the cheese was placed on haphazardly. Not sure what crew was on tonight, but it was not up to the usual standard in the slightest.
They're good on flavor - and I liked the topping amounts on the pizza. But the Calzone is the most disappointing experience. 90% Crust, and its soo dry that the 1 small red sauce that comes with doesn't last past 3 bites.\\n\\nNot sure how long their dough/crust sits out; or if it was overworked or had tooo much flour. But my jaw was tired of chewing after 1 slice; I had to take a breather before I could finish the 2nd. I've never had that happen before, I swear.
Great food. Prices are in line with the area and food quality. Staff was exceedingly pleasant, professional and caring.
I love the food at Davannis. We eat there frequently, we always get hot hoagies. All food is good, though.
This is my go to pizza spot because they have a wide variety, good food, and reasonable prices. Normally get pizza but tonight we decided to change it up with calzones and a hot sandwich for me. Easy to order online. My food was ready to go and more importantly it was delicious. Had a really great deep dish pizza. The crust was perfectly browned, crisp and buttery.
