Starting with positives, their enchiladas are delicious, and that red sauce is out of this world good. They have an extensive menu with so many different and interesting options that you can never get bored with the menu. The micheladas and margaritas make me salivate. Now to the cons, their service is pretty bad and they charge way too much for kids meals, and extras. $5 for a side of rice or beans is petty betty and the rice is definitely not worth that price. I will keep going back because of the food quality but I just expect to get mediocre service and over-pay for every little thing.
The food was amazing the new owners greeted us and were very nice. Service was fast and friendly all around a great atmosphere here will definitely be back again.
It was just bad. Mexican cuisine is my husbands favorite type of food so we had to try it out. We weren't impressed with what we ordered, but my daughter's kid's meal was disgusting and would have made her ill if she had actually eaten it. I understand that this is a Mexican restaurant, don't add items on your menu that you can't cook. How hard is it to make a kids pizza? The dough was raw and heavily fermented. She told us that it smelled funny so we took a taste and it turned us off from all the food that was served. When we brought up the issue, they looked at us with confusion and just stated, "I dunno, sorry I didn't cook pizza." WHAT?!
I was excited to try their tacos because I heard good things about Cilantro when I was in the Chicago area. I was extremely disappointed when my pastor tacos looked like someone put pink dye. The meat had no flavor and meat portion was unacceptable. I never write a review on google but I feel if I was the owner of this restaurant I would want to know real feed back. I’m scared to try them again.
