First server (bartender?) was unfriendly and didn’t know the taps at all. Waited 10-15 mins for a different server to take our food order after that and then another eternity for it to arrive. California burgers were cold and under seasoned. From the other reviews seems like someone was just having an off night, I’m sure some people have a great experience. Spent most of the meal just waiting to get back on the road :/

The food was delicious!! Service was excellent as well. I’ll be back

Pickled Loon is a cool spot for late night snack and meeting with some friends. For us it was the only spot open on a Tuesday night. The vibe was nice and chill. Our server was the bartender. You ever notice that the bartender is always a better server than an actual server. We had the nachos, fried pickles, and fried avocado tacos. The food was ok slightly bland on the nachos. It was missing a few seasonings to make it pop. The best dish was the fried pickles.

Took 30 minutes to even be asked for my order. Have been waiting for 70 minutes and counting for my order. Missing an appointment with my spouse because of it. Saw group of 20 debating coming in or not. Informed them of the wait. Recommended party go to MC's Dugout instead. Party left.

Arrived at 5:30, ordered our food at 5:30. Got our appetizers at 6:00. At about 6:30 we asked where our food was and we were told our food wouldn’t be ready for another 20-30 minutes. Left immediately after that. I don’t care how the food potentially is, but I am not waiting an hour and half to maybe get my food. If I could give this place a negative 1 star review I would.

Hit and miss on some things. The staff are very nice and friendly and the food is actually very good when you get what you want.I have ordered from these guys two times and the first time everything was right and I was very happy with our food. I have pictures here of the Philly cheese steak with no onions and the Cali Burger. My fiance also ordered the Pickled loon with no pickles but was basically handed a plain burger as they forgot the bacon and some other dressings. My Cali Burger, was fantastic. The mixture of the cheese, sauce, and generous avocado slices made it worth ordering. I made time to order it one more time before leaving town.Personally, I don't like how there is no online ordering. I'm very awkward and don't like having to call a place to place an order. That being said, everyone who I've spoken with has been very polite and understanding of my awkwardness. The estimates for food pickup are not very accurate. I ended up having to wait an additional 25 to 30 minutes for our to go burgers.I was honestly so very excited that I could have a Philly without the onions. I know it's practically sacrilege, but I just don't like them.If you are in St Cloud, and tired of chain restaurants, give the Pickled Loon a try.

I really wasn't expecting very much out of this place, just regular old bar fare. What I got was actually really good. The burgers are made correctly to where they're not so juicy that they make a mess but are still really tasty. Their Sriracha barbecue sauce is so good on their fries that I have no words. They were pretty swift as well, it only took them like 10 or 15 minutes to have our whole order done. Will probably end up getting another burger from them before we leave.

A friend and I stopped in for dinner and a beer. Awesome beer selection and equally awesome menu. My friend gave high marks to her fish and chips, and I loved my Loony Mac & Cheese with broccoli and chicken. The cheese sauce was fabulous and the chicken strips were delicious! Server and bartender were great. Can’t wait to go back!
