Shout out to Arron our server. You were obviously very short handed this afternoon (during mid afternoon), but Arron stepped with a great attitude and major hustle. Thank you for kicking it into high gear.Food and service was great as usual!
The wait staff were friendly and quick to the best of their ability despite being a really full restaurant. The cooks however are awful and need to practice more. I understand being busy but that does not excuse majority of food being burnt. Burnt French toast, burnt bacon and sausage. Toast was both burnt and soggy and it didn't taste like butter or even margarine on it more like a vegetable oil on it.
The waiter was doing as good as he could beings he was the only person running and taking orders.The hostess seated us and didn’t return for at least 20mins with the drinks. The wait time for the food was slightly ridiculous, 45mins and we didn’t even get our whole order until we were finished with everything, they forgot about the other half.It wasn’t very clean either.
We arrived around 11:30 am on a Sunday. We were seated quickly near the kitchen. Our waitress, Rose Ann was wonderful. Food was good. I was a bit weirded out with the cheese on my omlete. I was expecting shredded cheese melted on top of it but it was like canned nacho cheese. The not so good part, the floors were extremely sticky, and there was a spilled cup of something under our booth that was never cleaned up. One waitress entered the kitchen and spoke very poorly about a woman at one of her tables and said if someone didn't switch with her she was going to slap the lipstick off the lady. There was also a lot of swearing and yelling coming from the kitchen. Obviously being seated near the kitchen makes it worse but still not what you want to listen to while eating.
Had a young waitress took 20min for her come and get us drinks, then we ordered and the food took 40min to come with appetizers 1min before the meal. Not everything came with the meal, and on the second round of drinks she spilled all over one person's food. Didn't even try to replace the food she spilled on it. The whole time we where there on seen her 3 time
The Service was very good & Friendly we will be back for sure. Also was very delicious food as well.
It's Perkins. It's all about the coffee, muffins and pie. Perhaps a short stack of chocolate chip pancakes. ? ☕️ I like how the servers and staff are usually cheerful and seem to enjoy their work. I would recommend you go. Lots of free parking too. However, even though I am a grown adult... I do still miss the old wishing wells full of prizes.
We decided to leave after extremely slow service around 5 pm on 4/8/22 and after seeing other customers be waited on that came in after us and then receive their food! It didn’t seem that busy! I paid for our coffee upon leaving and wasnt even given an apology. I’m not even sure why they had the audacity to accept my payment!
After a long time on the road and hungry for breakfast stopped at a busy Sunday perkins location. Waited patiently to be seat and after a bit was seated and was served coffee/water and ordered breakfast 45 mins later watched as other tables around me that arrived after get their meals. I decided to leave a 5 dollar bill for the coffee and leave. I know it wasnt the waitress fault, but I was disappointed in the service. I did call the manager and reported my experience. She apologized and offer to fix up another table, but couldn't guarantee the wait time. It would of been nice to get a raincheck or certificate for another Perkins restaurant.
The waitress was wonderful.
