On Saturday 6/11 we had a group of about 40+ come to Granite City for supper. We were in town for the youth softball tournaments. We were a mix of kids and adults. Everyone in this group praised the friendly staff, the delicious food, the wonderful service, and the great atmosphere. We were treated exceptionally well, the wait staff worked like a well-oiled machine and we had a blast. I highly recommend Granite City in St. Cloud, MN. It was a really great experience for us. Main issue was our waiter - poor service. Got a normal tip though, only since it was a business lunch.
A good pub. Fish was great in the fish and chips but fries were soggy. Avocado grilled cheese sandwich was great. Service was good but the kitchen was slow
Food was good for the price. It was very noisy for a Wednesday night. My order had an ingredient I specifically asked for off, and was presented with the idea of a Birthday dessert to find out 15 mins after waiting that the oven was broken. So all in all not the worst night but I most likely wont be returning.
The service was awesome. One of our guests found the food little salty but the hostess was gracious enough to change the order. The overall experience was great. Thank you for hosting such a large group!
We were there late on Mother's Day so understand that it was a busy day however they were out of some basics including Sprite and lemonade so there were no caffeine-free options other than water to drink. Then we ordered food and the first choice was their grilled cheese w/avocado and we couldn't get that because they were out of avocado. The food we got was good and the service was excellent. Not the restaurants fault, but our car was also rummaged through by a would-be thief semi-caught in the act by an off-duty police officer and although nothing was taken and we stupidly forgot to lock it, it put a bit of a damper on the experience. According the police officer who came and found us in the restaurant, this is a common occurrence because of the location.
