Recently, Chinses Phoenix Express change it owner and menu, and I must said that it is worth it to check out their new menu. I highly recommended their Salt and pepper wing! it is the best wing I ever try. The wind is also freshly made and each bite, it is crunchy yet juicy. The flavor is the perfect combination between saltiness and spiciness. Right amount of salt in your tongue with a hint sweetness. There are two kind of spiciness. the first one is the heat being bring out to the maximum degree, i.e. hot with no flavor. The second kind of spiciness this the spicy that was mean to enhance your tongue taste, to make you want more, to make you yearning for the next bite, and that, that is what this wing has. I can't no longer taste any other wind like the same as before, they ain't just the same like they use to be.

It's been nearly a decade since I've been here. The new menu is wonderful. The sweet chili wings were perfect. They had just the right amount of crunch and the flavor was exquisite. The pho was delicious with a serving size that satisfies. The egg rolls are without a doubt the best in the Saint Cloud area. Simply amazing.I will definitely be returning and often.
The food was HORRIBLE. The sesame chicken was disgusting The sauce was so thick that it honestly looked like paste... The beef and broccoli looked like beef stew, the cream cheese wontons were so fried you couldn't eat them.... never again will I order from this place and I will never recommend this place to ANYONE. I want the old owners back!
Very clean environment. I haven’t been able to eat fried rice because I’m allergic to shellfish, I love how they accommodate My allergies. Food is always hot and tasteful. It may take awhile for your food to get ready however they make it fresh to order and I love that. I have recommended them to all of my family and friends and I eat here once a week. Hands-down five stars
I ordered chicken Pho....delicious??? The broth was so flavorful and just what I needed!! I'm so glad I found this place! I ordered lo mein for dinner later and it looks ? I'll be back for more Pho!!!
What a gem! We’ve been trying to find good Vietnamese since the local Vietnamese market stopped serving food and we found it! Never would have found this place except a friend gave us the recommendation. Haven’t tried much aside from banh mi and pho but it’s our new go to for both. Everything is super SUPER fresh and packed with flavor. Will definitely try other dishes soon. Highly recommend!
This'll probably be the most accurate and up-to-date review you'll find on this place. I've never experienced the old Phoenix Express; so my experience is only through the newest owners/dishes, recipes and so forth. I've experienced plenty of both authentic-asian food and also americanized-asian style foods over the yrs (my neighbors growing up were born in Laos and plenty of other asian friends). This place does a great job blending the best of both worlds. As you can see with the orange chicken, it's not your mall-style cheap asian orange chicken and also there's no fish eyeballs staring at you. Plates were well decorated. I tried all 3 types of egg rolls; all were great and you can't go wrong. My wife liked the Vietnam style egg roll the most. We both enjoyed the cheese wontons. You could eat some as an appetizer and save some for dessert, because there's so many, each PACKED with a sweet cheesy flavor you'll want lingering on your tongue, long after your main meal. The rice was a perfect 10/10. The place was super clean and comfortable to be in. Very neat decorations to glance at as well. I also ate here 30 minutes before they closed, and so it was empty and yet everything came out FRESH. Meaning it's likely to be freshly prepared always. And just look at those 'hot and spicy' wings. They were as good as they looked! YUM. If you dislike soggy wings, the way they prep theirs you can get the sauce and crunch. Nothing worse than wasting time reading about old reviews!
