Small little Vietnamese restaurant, but menu is a blend of Vietnamese and Chinese. Phô was ok. Broth too sweet and unbalanced. Spring rolls were good. I'd go again, but would try other things on their menu.
I only had a bowl of pho so can't really give it a full experience. The pho was alright tho. But if you're looking more drinks like bubble tea or smoothe while you're eating here then this is not the place for you. But do give it a try.
Fried rice was really great so was the pho! Egg roll was good. Spring roll not bad.
A Highland Park institution for Vietnamese and Chinese food. Freshly made food that is quick. Friendly staff.To note I witnessed one of the Staff a man. Come to the aid of a lost elderly man that walked in needing to get home who had no cell phone. The male staff member ordered the old man a cab and talked to him while the car showed up. The staff showed genuine concern in helping him and walked him out to the car when it arrived making sure he got in safely. This is a reason alone to go eat here, besides the good food. ????
I love this place. Their lunch and dinner specials are legitimate. You get a small soup, a couple cream cheese wantons, an egg roll, choice of fried or white rice, broccoli, sand your entree. Def two meals in one.The egg roll is super tasty and the egg drop soup is not neon yellow. My wife doesn't even like egg drop and she likes the soup.Try the sesame chicken. It's actually crispy and delicious and not all soggy and overly breaded.
This restaurant is amazing! I used to live around the area and used to come here alot. Ive moved since, so its always nice to stop in to dine from time to time. But I can tell you their chicken phò, fresh veggie spring rolls and even their fresh super crunchy veggie egg rolls are amazing and doesn't disappoint!! Its nice to find a place that makes you feel like home. The staff is polite and inviting and I couldn't remember.. but they now have a small wine and beer selection. I had the Moscato which was sweet but not over powering. I would definitely recommend this especially on cold days when you want just a warm bowl of soup.. the pho is very flavorful and you really want to just keep eating ?. The egg rolls were crispy and the veggie spring rolls had cucumbers which was super fresh!
I just picked up chicken chow mein and got maybe 3 quarter sized pieces of flattened chicken and a TON of vegetables. Had I wanted vegetables I would have asked for that. Taste was very blah….no flavor whatsoever. Portion was acceptable but now my next 1-2 meals will be “vegetable chow mein when I was looking for chicken chow mein. Egg rolls were good but not very warm after my short 2 mile drive home. I will scratch this place off my eating places. Perhaps their more well known for other dishes.
Such an amazing place in Highland. Up there for best Vietnamese food in St. Paul! Such good food. They never disappoint. If your eating in Highland, this is the place to go. Amazing Service always as well. GO HERE!!
I love this place! The employees are so kind and provide wonderful service, and the food always comes out fast and tastes great (I usually get the vermicelli / rice noodle salad). I enjoy the quiet and unpretentious atmosphere of the restaurant as well.
