A classic diner setting with really good food and great service. The Cajun breakfast is the best!A little smaller inside than expected. And if there is a wait it's well worth it.

This breakfast was amazing! I appreciate the cafe style and the options they had available. My goal was for a breakfast sandwich, which they don't seem to have.I originally rated 4-stars just because there is always something to strive for. Though they are active on their reviews; that tells me they are looking to strive for the extra touch. Well worth the full rating!
Hole in the wall place advertising all day breakfast. Looked like a cool locals type of place. Friendly staff, I took the waitress recommendation of the Cajun breakfast and didn’t regret the choice. At first I thought it was expensive, but between the quality and the size, I’d say it’s worth the price.
Was in town for the weekend with my daughter and wanted something small, local and "dinerish". This spot hit the mark for us! We sat at the counter and enjoyed the hustle and bustle. For a small space, it was not overly loud despite being mostly full. The service was super friendly and speedy. Their hashbrowns are their signature dish and they were excellent, but its what they add to it that makes it different and delicious! Every plate that went by looked like something I would order and destroy any time. Id eat here again and try everything at least once.
Great place lots of character small area for dine in but they turn tables. Food was great hashbrowns was cooked perfectly bacon wasnt greasy at all over all great price for the amount of food you get will be getting breakfast and maybe lunch again real soon
Awesome little diner! Lucked out and got a table for 7 quickly on a busy Saturday morning. French toast and bacon was fantastic choice, but the breakfast platters looked soo tempting as well! Portion sizes are pretty generous! Would definitely go back again.
After getting ignored at Shish went here. Waited a while but totally worth it as always. Blueberry pancakes, eggs per order and hash browns. The bomb. Cook working his butt off. Great service all around. Good coffee with frequent refills

The Uptowner is one of my favorite spots for an amazing breakfast! Always a great atmosphere and the staff are awesome! Best hole In the wall cafe?
