This is a hidden diamond in downtown Saint Paul I never knew about. The food here is amazing especially the dry rub chicken wings, fries, queso dip, and everything else. I first went here with my friends job. They come here to celebrate sometime. You might be astonished by the food but the service is amazing. Cavly is always on point never letting our drinks or food run out. She always comes to check on us. She serves better than most high end restaurant servers I know. Now I have a new place to take my friends.

Best bar in lowertown/downtown by far. I go for drinks sometimes but mainly order to go orders and the food is always great and when I do go for a drink the bartenders are attendant and make the drinks as ordered and perfect. Black dog just closed down so all we have is the bulldog now and it's a staple in the community down here. I'd be at a loss if bulldog closed down but it's always atleast somewhat busy and I have no complaints so I don't think it's going anywhere.

The service girl was quick and kind . The chicken was burnt almost choked. The macaroni was ok. But the waitress did a great job. An old man was outside threatening to beat me up while yelling to the air, homeless I believe. It was ok. Never my first choice . Usually only my last resort kinda spot.

Great food and Customer Service

Excellent food and excellent ambiance. Love the location. My Jalapeño Popper sandwich was delectable.

Perfect amount of service, good burger, great fries. My husband and I shared a dish for our anniversary. They not only didn't charge us a share fee, they split the dish in the kitchen (so we didn't have to at the table) and served us each our own plate.

The food here is really good. I ordered the steak salad and the steak was cooked perfectly. The whole bar was really clean and we had great service. There are a lot of TV's, good place to watch sports.

A great location, for a great beer bar. Enormous selection of tap beer, close to the new baseball stadium, super friendly staff. I especially love the Nitro tap lines! It can be a little loud at boisterous in this bar at times, but when you want to let loose it's a good spot to do so.

Stopped in for dinner and drinks while waiting for the train and wow, am I glad I did! We sat ourselves and were quickly greeted by our server. Drink menu is great with more than 20 craft taps, wines, and plenty of cocktails. My only complaint is that beers are only available in one size, very minor. For dinner we had the poutine and the Seattle hotdog. Poutine was outstanding! Fries were crispy on the outside but fluffy inside and the pot roast on top really set it apart from other poutines I've tried. Seattle dog, a hotdog with cream cheese, grilled onions, and jalapenos, was different but really worked. Server was friendly and offered great drink recommendations. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Saint Paul! Highly recommend.
