I know when you have a sandwich at a Mexican restaurant you should get a torta, but I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak. And I am glad I did, it was awesome!
We went, ordered 2 burritos: al pastor & carnitas and small Horchata + handmade chips were the cherry on top. The service was quick efficient and welcoming, the lady at the window was lovely 10/10. These burritos were immense 10/10. The sauce were top notch, they were very delicious; if you like a kick (try salsa verde). First taste was the Horchata the only downside was I should've ordered a Large, it was so good so far it's the best Horchata I've ever drank. Coming down to the burrito the meat felt fresh well seasoned and tender; the rice, refried beans, and veggies were cooked very well and fresh (the first bite got me singing songs), my wife couldn't finish hers so I did gladly, we wanted to drive back just to say thank you and tell them how good it was. I will make a 30mins drive to get their food again. We've been tasting quite some few food truck places around Minneapolis but Tavial Grill is our #1 so farSee you this weekend. Thank you!!!
OMG I know the picture may be a mess. But it's the Chicken Nachos and they're DELICIOUS! Sorry thought of the picture after I began to devour my food. The young at the order window is so sweet as well. Amazing customer service! Will visit again
They usually have amazing food. This time however my enchiladas came looking like this. I don’t open till I got home
Excellent counter service Mexican food! Everything is flavorful and the serving sizes are generous. From burritos to tamales and tortas (sandwiches), it's all good. The green sauce has a great fiery kick to it, and the red is milder with a lovely sweet and smoky red pepper flavor.
I ordered from Tavial today for the first time and holy cow, I think I just found my new favorite place for mexican food. Included in what I ordered was a Tinga/Chicken burrito and it was one of the best burritos I’ve ever had! Super impressed. I will definitely be ordering from them in the future!
Awesome little diner style Mexican restaurant. Good food, friendly wait staff, fast service. I love finding little places like these. Their 2 tamales plate is definitely worth it!
they were very friendly from the moment i walked in and the moment i left but the food was very average. the salsa i was served for chips and salsa was actually pico de gallo and the carne asada meat in my burrito didn’t really have any sort of seasoning. the prices are fair for the amount of food but i wouldn’t call this authentic
We discovered this absolute gem of a restaurant (which has a drive thru, brillant!) after waiting just under an hour for an online Chipotle order. Without a doubt this was the best burrito I've ever had, weather it's because it was made with love or just me being delirious from hunger, I will be back.
Delicious burritos and chips. the Pico is great as well.
