The sandwich was pretty bland. They get 3 stars because the sauces were pretty good and a must add for flavor. I had their tarter, lemon aioli, jalapeño aioli, ranch and blue cheese. Fries were decent. I went here to treat myself because I read a article they were #8 in the nation (it said top 10 fish sandwiches in the United States) so I was happy that Minnesota was a pick but I was not impressed

Absolutely amazing food! Best Walleye my family and I have ever ate! We tried the Walleye sampler , Parmasan Crusted Walleye, The Walleye dinner, and The Northwoods..all was Awesome! Thanks goes out to Joel our waiter also. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and super friendly. I celebrated my birthday there and he gave me a free dessert too! Definitely will be going back!

Our group of 50 had a private room, very good food, and excellent service. Most of us ordered the walleye sandwich which comes with a huge side of fries. The room we were in looked clean and fresh but the entrance, restroom, and other parts of the restaurant looked a tad shabby and in need of deep cleaning.

1st visit drove 40 miles as reviews said the best walleye. We were very disappointed. Ordered 2 full walleye dinners. Looked good but taste was bland tasteless my opinion. Had Appetizer of Spring Rolls which were very good. Waiter refused to remove dirty dishes off table even when I handed him the plates he put it back down on my table. Train your rude staff watch them or train properly. Won't be back.

This place has good tasting fish. I enjoyed the dish.

Awesome Food and great people

the staff was awesome and the walleye was delicious

I hope you like walleye! We went around 7 and it was pretty busy and VERY loud, but the food was amazing. I highly suggest the walleye bites. Have the appetizer and skip dessert.

First of all, you'd better like Walleye, but who doesn't. It's the main thing on the menu. The great thing is that they do it very well. If you aren't sure which kind you want get the walleye appetizer platter where you can taste it done in every way they serve itl Spoiler: they're all very good. Fresh fish isn't necessarily cheap so this isn't a cheap eats place. Also, this is not the dignified sort of place you're bring your boss from out of town, it's much more typical urban St Paul: a bit old, a bit low class, but very relateable.

Always a pleasure to dine here having the best walleye in town! Excellent wild rice soup and delicious bread pudding ala mode!!!
