This place can get pretty busy. Made a phone order and they forgot a burrito when I got home, but staff were nice enough to give me a refund. Got the tacos al pastor and birria with consome were decent, filled with lots of meat. Their torta was delicious! Bread was nice and toasty, and really loved the avocado. Make sure to ask for more salsa, I definitely didn’t get enough. Nachos were different, but still good. I’d go again for something quick.
Loved this little place! Very authentic and delicious food. I especially loved the mulitas, they have cheese melted between the 2 layers of corn shells & lots of savory meat on top served with a very delicious soup. I also had the steak taco and it was awesome too. Everything is fairly priced, very reasonable for what you get & the staff was fast & friendly. The restaurant is cozy with cute decor. Will definitely visit when I'm nearby again. Can't wait for my next batch of mulitas!!
Large burrito was delicious, I ordered asada which is Spanish word for steak. Beans and rice in burrito and on the side as part of a platter was a delicacy. Platter included a couple chips, but chips and salsa can be ordered separately if so want. Delish! It was really good.
Giving 5 because I'm pretty sure they were closed and they still served us and let us dine in. We accidentally thought it was a different taqueria that stayed open late. Best torta I've probably ever had eating out.
I’ve been on a huge birria tacos kick, so stopped in for dinner after reading reviews. As others have mentioned, the lot is small, but there is street parking. The murals in this neighborhood are beautiful. The restaurant inside has approx 15 tables and was dressed up for the holidays; it had a cute & cozy feel. I ordered tacos and my husband got the enchiladas. Birria tacos were delicious, I added the cheese and soup as suggested; the cheese was a new twist for me and I really enjoyed it. The green sauce was a great addition, though the red was a little warm for me (I did add some to my soup for my leftovers the next day and it gave it a perfect level of spice). Hubby’s enchiladas were a little too spicy for him, but that’s not surprising since his favorite quote is ‘name brand ketchup makes me sweat’ ? So more leftovers for me! The ladies working were friendly and efficient; they were working on a large to-go order when we arrived and we still had our food within 10 minutes of ordering.
Quick good affordable food. Got lunch here 3 times and enjoyed it every time. Will probably go back very soon.
Super good. Super affordable. I've tried all the tacos, I think the Al Pastor is my favorite. I also really like the lengua, and obviously birra.Staff is always super fast and friendly. It always smells so good around the neighborhood because of this place.
Absolutely the best taco place in town. It's probably the best place I've ever been to for street style tacos, and they're probably the best tacos I've ever had. Other menu items are fantastic as well. Great hours, great food, and fantastic service, even for a non Spanish speaker such as myself. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. It's my go to restaurant above all others. 15/10
I think all the hype brought a lot of disappointment. The Carne Asada Taco tasted and smelled like it went bad. The Al Pastro Taco was soooooo salty. The only saving grace was the Lengua Taco. I would get that again in a heart beat. The corn tortillas was mediocre. The salsa was ok. I can write this one off my list and continue trying other places. This one I won’t be returning to.
Went to farmers market in Oakdale -they have a food truck there on Wednesdays. Had the pollo street tacos- they were soo good!
