For a sushi place in an airport this food was perfect! The price was not expensive either and the service was fast. Highly recommend for good fresh sushi.

If you experienced authentic Japanese ramen, this isn’t the ramen place for you. Their broth lacks depth (very light) while noodles were average. I would give 1 star but after long travel day, it hit the right spot for me. Ramen lovers should lower the expectation here.iPad at the counter and tables are non functional. You need to scan the QT code off the iPad to place order and pay online and your order will be brought to your table.

I ALMOST didn’t eat here because of the less than savory reviews. I’m glad the need to satisfy my craving outweighed my apprehension. While not particularly welcoming, the staff quickly served my drink after ordering and my food in a reasonable amount of time -about 15mins. Everything came correct and surprisingly fresh! The ume shoal has a unique tangy flavor- also very salty. All in all Everything I would expect from my regular sushi joints at this price point. I recommend stopping by if you’ve got the rumblies in the tummy for some pretty darn good sushi. Also margaritas are pricy as is all airport liquor. These are strong enough to earn their ticket ?

My wife and I dined at Shoyu on 7 June. Her sushi platter and my pork tonkatsu ramen were excellent. Portions were generous. Our server was friendly and efficient. We regularly eat at Japanese restaurants. Shoyu is right up there with the best of them.

This was my first time here. I wasn't sure what to post so I tried asking the cashier if she had any recommendations. She was NOT helpful. She shrugged her shoulders at me and said, "I don't know," before turning her back to me. I was so turned off by the customer service I started to leave but then Ally who was also behind the counter came over to tell me her recommendations. She was so friendly and polite. I will come back again just because of her!

Surprisingly great food for an airport restaurant, prices were on the higher side but that is to be expected. I would highly recommend going here for lunch or dinner, portions are generous and you will have leftovers for later, if I ever have a layover in Minneapolis I will be returning.

Fresh, filling and delicious. The order process via tablet was easy, quick and doesn't make you feel rushed. Serving staff were pleasant and attentive. I true gem at MSp if you like sushi and Japanese cuisine!

The food is great. But today we received the worst service possible. We sat down at the table and no one came to us for a while, so we decided to get food to go. When we ordered the food on the tablet the ticket didn't print out as the machine was out of paper. The lady at the cash register looked at the machine and announced " That's not my problem " We had to wait for somebody who cared to fix the problem, no apology offered. And ro add to the insult there is a 4% hospitality fee added. For what??? Horrible hospitality : ((

Was in a hurry to get into my flight. They were fast and efficient in getting my food and drink. The food was great. I definitely recommend it! Safe Flying!

This was an awesome spot while waiting for my flight. Awesome staff. Good customer service. Food was amazing! I watched them make it!!
