Wonderful food.All our dishes were good, but I really loved the riceless sushi roll Naruto. The freshness, lightness and crispyness is amazing.I would have liked a few more beverage options, and a glass of ice with my non alcoholic ginger beer would have been nice.
We stopped by to support a local small business for a small snack and we had amazing service! The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly and efficient! We will definitely be back with a larger group of friends
Service was friendly and the sushi was great. Ordered fried avocado and yum! It was so good. Had the spicy devil roll and another whose name I can't remember. They were both so fresh and tasty. We'll be back.
The sushi wasn’t that great. Both my friend and i agreed we didn’t like it. The apps were pretty decent.
Me and my girlfriend are long time patrons of this restaurant. As someone who has done food delivery around the metro for 3+ years and a foodie, I can confidently say this is the best sushi place I know of.The fish is always very fresh, the portions are good compared to most sushi places, and the service is always excellent. There are a few particular members of the serving staff that are phenomenal as well.After your sushi try the dessert, because they have good options for that as well. In particular I like their mochi.All in all definitely worth a try.
Unfortunately I had a bad experience when arriving to this restaurant on Friday evening. Me, my son , and daughter decided to stop in and try a new place, she was really excited because she wanted sushi. First we stood there while the host was talking to another employee , and we were deliberately being ignored. Then when she did acknowledge us she instantly had an attitude, didn't even say hi or welcome, just do you have a reservation with a degrading look and attitude, just not friendly at all. I explained i checked the website before arriving, she still was hesitant about giving us a table. Just all together unwelcoming, seemingly very judgemental. It was Friday , I was happy to sit down and have dinner with my kids, and the host just made me feel uncomfortable from the moment we walked in. Thankfully I have amazing kids who weren't bothered by her dimenear, I however was . You would think you would get a better greeting from this type of establishment. Our server was great , all 5 of the sushi she recommended were great, the fried rice and lo mein were good. But due to the greeting and rude looks we got i wouldn't reccomend going if your looking for a nice relaxing , welcoming, evening with your children.
Stopped here for a meal before the airport and really enjoyed it! The fried rice was very plain but the sushi was fantastic. We got the shrimp tempura roll and the spicy tuna and thoroughly enjoyed both. Also liked the vegetable tempura, I thought the portions were pretty decent.
Excellent food. Large portions. Generous amount of fish in maki. Very friendly service. Only negative was quite a wait to order, but would return!
I was really happy with the sushi boat I received. I ordered some spicy tuna, the King Kong roll, the Godzilla roll, and another roll. All were tasty, the two specialty rolls were incredible, needed no extra wasabi or soy. Ordered wontons as well, we're delicious. The staff was kind and very attentive. Food came out relatively fast. Overall I would recommend this restaurant and will be going there again. I'll be trying the other specialty roles! Plus the boat is a really nice feature that adds to the vibe and setting of the restaurant. A lot of nice garnish as well on all the plates.
Hi, we’ve been here twice before while in St Paul and love it, so consider this a review from our previous visits. I just wanted to let you know that we went today just before 5 because we were in St Paul for a college visit, but unfortunately could not go in. All of us are vaccinated but one of the group did not have a proof card with her. We had to get back in the cars and go south to Eagan to have sushi and drinks and a really nice tab that should have been yours I’m sorry. Just wanted you to know, I also own a restaurant (not in city) and this felt so bad
