Delicious chai latte with soy milk!! Friendly staff. Regular coffee is hot hot hot, so be careful, but the Ethiopian drip coffee has a berry flavor and it’s light… even a non-coffee drinker can sip on it!Also happy to see their to-go cups are compostable. Thanks for caring about the environment!Finally, to all milk specialist: They only offer whole, oat and soy. So if you’re a skim (non-fat) or almond milk lover, maybe try soy milk here!

The espresso was excellent. They noticed that it was not pulling right and adjusted it. That shows a real passion for quality.
This place most likely serves the best cup of coffee in the twin cities. There are only a few places I would by my coffee from, and roots is one of them. Friendly staff, and amazing baristas.
The best Iced Mocha I have ever had and I am not being hyperbolic the perfect balance between the bitter coffee flavor and the sweet mocha flavoring.Very happy with it will be returning
The folks behind the counter are always delightful and the coffee is great. It's nice to have the option to sit outside in warmer weather. Inside space is metro-chic clean and not too big not too small.
