Great pizzas! Stone fire oven, made to order, personal pan size.What I loved was that there was not an exorbitant amount of cheese, it actually felt like a nice balanced meal.Crust was a mid point between thin crust and thick crust - chewy yet crunchy!
I’m so disappointed to report that my favorite pizza spot has changed its business model since the pandemic and now caters to online orders. Loyal walk in customers are now faced with long wait times as a result. Our last two visits had short lines but 40 minutes plus wait for food. The food is still fabulous but we are not fans of the sacrificing your in person clients for online orders. Chipotle has suffered a similar fate.

My 1st time at Punch Pizza, I'm searching for a Margherita pizza that I can actually enjoy eating. They have 3 varieties on their menu, I tried the basic version, it was edible bordering on not good. I didn't eat it all my dog did seem to enjoy it. I plan on going back and when I do I will try their top version, which is stated to have better quality tomatoes and cheese. Hopefully this is the case and it satisfies my desire. Since Pazzaluna restaurant closed in St. Paul, I have been unable to find a suitable replacement for what I found to be an excellent Margherita pizza. The search goes on.
So happy to have a top notch pizza place in the neighborhood. Was really good. My young son has never had such good pizza. Was wonderful. Excellent help making the order on the phone and greet help in the restaurant because I screwed up my online order. I wish I would have tried this place long ago. I’d already have eaten hundreds of these.
My neighborhood Punch. I love them. As we move into some kind of post-pandemic normal, they are essential for me. Visited tonight and the pizza was amazing as always.
This is another in the chain of Punch pizza restaurants. This is not your typical dry crusty pizza. It’s more of an authentic Italian pizza with lots of olive oil which makes it wetter. They have the traditional margarita pizza with lots of topping options. It’s cooked in a woodfired oven at 800° in 90 seconds. It’s fun to watch how it cooks. Very much recommend this restaurant. Especially if you’re looking for something familiar with a different twist. Besides, who doesn’t like pizza.
The woman checking IDs and packaging pizza was exceptionally rude. I went to buy a bottle of wine to bring home. I was informed they would open it before I left as it’s “company policy”. I responded that it is in fact illegal to drive with an open bottle of alcohol in your car. The woman proceeded to snap at me that “then I don’t have to buy it.” This was completely unprovoked. I sat and listened while she spoke down to me and continued to reiterate her point. To which I responded, “that’s fine. I won’t buy the wine then. And there is no need for you to be rude about this. I am not comfortable doing something illegal.” To which her tone instantly changed after being called rude and she tried to have a sweeter tone while still being condescending.
Seating is tough to get and sometimes so is the parking. Otherwise it is standard Punch like their other locations. Get the Vesuvio if you enjoy spicy pizza. The Punch salad is wonderful, too.
