I went to this place yesterday because it was raining and I was craving something to warm me up. A friend and I ended up coming here and loved it. I tried #16 which is beef broth with shredded chicken and it’s an amazing pho for beginners. It was delicious and flavorful, I really liked how the chicken didn’t have the squishy fat part that I don’t like. I would definitely come here again whenever I want pho. Our server was also very kind and attentive.
My friend recommended this place. So I finally tried it. It was ok. I like more seasoned pho. And I asked for hot & spicy. It wasn't hot & spicy but, they have me jalapenos ??♀️. So it only was hot if I ate one while eating. The soring rolls had absolutely NO flavor! ? The peanut sauce wasn't flavorful but it'll do. I think if the spring rolls had any flavor, the peanut sauce would brought it out even better. I still will be back because I had friendly, helpful, great service but definitely not to get the pho but, to try the egg rolls, chicken, & fried rice. ..
If I could only eat one food for the rest of my life, it would be Pho 79! I've been coming here for 6 years and have always been delighted by my visit. I get the special pho (#0) or the egg roll noodle salad (#40). My partner always gets the spicy pho and he adores it. The coffee is fantastic, sweet and strong as heck. The service is so fast, food always comes out fresh and hot, and the quality has never wavered. Thank you Pho 79! See you soon!
Wow. Yes. Yum. Dined in last week and had the Pho Combination with Rare lean beef, well-done/fat brisket, tripe, and tendons. Got takeout tonight. Pho Tai with just rare lean beef. You get SO much in the takeout container. I had to eat it out of a serving bowl. The ingredients are fresh. The meat is good quality. The takeout is packaged up very neatly. When I dined in, the service was great. Quick and attentive. Servers and workers were wearing masks, which I really appreciate.

I've tried a few places in this area and this was my least favorite. The texture and the taste of the pho noodles was off to me. The broth was lacking flavor, the meat was tough, and the wontons were overdone. I was sad because I was so excited about trying the pho at this place.
Nice place for a quick bite. The prices are definitely good for the amount of food you get. Fair prices. It's near the U so definitely leaning for student customers. Good food and pricing for anyone. Me andy dad went here and the food came out very fast. The food was hot and fresh. Definitely will come again to try more. I thought the food was great but we honestly came here because our typical pho go-to was closed. ( iPho is closed on Mondays).
I love this place! I order directly through their web page so they get more of the profit vs ordering through a third party their pork egg rolls are delicious and the Pho is piping hot!!!
In my opinion, the best vietnamese restaurant in the twin cities area. Their pho has a wonderful depth and clarity. They offer a combination pho with tripe and tendon that is my personal favorite. The egg rolls are crispy, filled with glass noodles and accompanied with a wonderful fish sauce for dipping. The banh mi had flavorful BBQ pork and the bread was soft and fresh, with lots of bright veggies.
Only been here once and I ordered pho and the pork bahn mi. The pho was very good I could really taste the spices in the broth, but my bahn mi was served on a soft bun instead of a traditional French baguette and it really made me feel like I was eating more of like a hot dog it didn’t sit very well. The service was fast and friendly.
