We were here Celebrating my fiancé birthday. They got us 30 minutes before our reservation and was taken care of immediately. The food and service was outstanding!I was totally impressed with our server Carolyn, impeccable service. She was very engaging and attentive the girl has a great sense of humor which I ❤️
Wonderful food and atmosphere! Great service !
I honestly wish we remembered the name of our server as he was excellent and wasn't judgemental about us - when you're under 50 at a restaurant like this, you come prepared to have the occasional uppity behavior projected onto you. But no, we had a fantastic time for my partner's birthday! Four of us had lovely food, the drink pairings were excellent, and the dessert was superb. We even had coffees with our dessert and it was heavenly. Overall highly recommend! If you love seafood, ordering the squid ink pasta is optimal. Enjoy!
Wonderful Food and Service. Save room for dessert!
Great food. The waiter presented himself without telling us his name, and tried to sell us on the expensive 3-course dinner (pretty forcefully). But he was pleasant afterwards. Really enjoyed the wine, but was very overpriced. Might be back, we'll see.
Best Italian food ever! I had the risotto and scallops and it melted in my mouth. Husband had a type of pasta and he loved every bite. Server was down to earth and friendly. Highly recommended! Also, loved the little shop attached.
Sumptuous menu emailed is what brought us to I Nonni. We’ve dined there many times past years and understand the pandemic has affected staffing but wondered why we had to wait so long in between course—up to 25 minutes! Our server was apologetic but clearly it wasn’t his fault, he was kind and cont’ to check in. Also, it was very cold throughout the restaurant, we had to move to a different table and still bone chilling cold. The food was very good with a few exceptions. The starter Zuppa di Pesce was absolutely delicious, flavorful and had ample amounts of seafood! We’re still raving about the broth and that little pieces of bread served with it! Next course he had Capellini pasta which was rich and yummy, I had the cockles, also delicious. Main course he had the fish and thought it was just okay. Unfortunately, my Manhattan strip was tasteless and full of grizzle (was this really MS?). Likewise, our shared dessert, chocolate raspberry cake did not have much flavor (seemed it was plated a while ago), and the chocolate dipped strawberries were NOT ripe therefore, inedible. All in all, we were not pleased with a meal that cost $184 per couple, with wine and tip $240. Hardly memorable.
Our group loved the experience and the meals. Excellent wine choices and menu variety. Sorry, I didn't get our wait staff's name but she and the wine steward/manager were great! Thanks to all! We'll be back!
Waitress was nice,, the wine that the sommelier suggested was spot on. The food was delicious and we only had half servings, but filled us just right! Looking forward to going again.
Great everything!! Good wine and great food!!
