My first visit. This place is so good! I had been suggested to try them when I asked about restaurants in the Twin Cities with very spicy dishes available. I tried one dish that’s a favorite of mine and one that was new to meThe dish in front is one of my faves. It’s called nam khao. It’s an Isan/Lao dish that’s like crispy fried rice. Spiced rice is balled up and deep fried until it’s crispy. The crispy rice is mixed with herbs, fermented pork sausage, lime vinaigrette, peanuts, chilis, and coconut. It’s served with lettuce to eat it with by handThe other dish was new to me. It’s called nam thok. It’s another Isan/Lao dish that’s like a southeast Asian ceviche (it’s like laab but with sliced meat). It’s sliced meat, herbs, lime juice, chilis, shallots, ground toasted rice, and fish sauce. It’s also served with lettuce to eat with.I was told this place serves their food spicy, which is why I went. It definitely fit the bill for that. I told the server I really like spicy food and she suggested if I like spicy to order a 3/10 and add chili if needed. I asked for a 6/10 which I think was a perfect heat for me. I could have handled hotter, but this was a really nice level to enjoy the food without needing to wipe my nose and brow the whole time ?? I believe both dishes use ground, dried chilis for heat, with the nam khao also using finely minced fresh chilis I think. I’ve had with coarsely chopped fresh chilies (at Nong’s Thai in Golden Valley, which is wonderful) which has a more immediately aggressive heat and lingers longer. I like both ways, I really enjoy the progressive heat On’s dishes have and how well the heat is balanced with other flavors to be vibrant and not violent

It was perfect! One dish could definitely serve two. It was tasty a really spicy!

We haven't been here in a while but still yummy as always. Ordered appetizers and pad see ew, which I recommend. My son ordered a clear soup but didn't eat any of it in the restaurant because he filled up on chicken wings. Made for good leftovers.I had fun people watching while my son played on his phone. We were tucked in a corner near a table that had been repurposed as a prep table. Burley men in tattoos sat there and picked through mounds of basil leaves. The manager fluttered around, seeming stressed that the restaurant had filled while he was meditating in the basement. You're doing a good job!

Food is always great! Best Pad Thai in town! In the 5 years we’ve come here for dinner, we’ve never been anything but completely satisfied! Their coconut curry soup is amazing.

I wish I could give this place a negative 1 rating. This was my first time dining at this establishment and my last. I came here w/ a friend who had eaten here several times before and always had a good experience, maybe I’m bad luck. She ordered a rice dish w/ fish and at a level 5 for heat. When the meal came out it was not as she expected. The fish had been cut up and mixed throughout the rice, and the heat level seemed way more than medium. She informed the waiter, a Caucasian gentleman, that she believed the fish was to come on the side or on top not cut up and mixed w/ the rice. Also, that the dish was way too spicy for her to eat, more like a 7 than a 5. The waiter commented that he’d seen a 7 and that it was “definitely not a 7.” Either way my friend told him that it was too spicy for her to eat and if they could make another w/ reduced spice level and if they could put the fish on the side. Well, here was where the evening went left.He brought it back to the kitchen informed the cook that the meal was too hot for customer and that she wanted the fish on the side. Now it was a problem, the place is small and all that separates the dining area from the kitchen is a flimsy curtain. We could here them arguing about the request and the spice level. My friend even saw the waiter eating some of it through the curtain. He came out again and informed us that the fish could not be put on the side as that was not how the dish came and continued to insist that the food was NOT too spicy. After a back and forth my friend was not even hungry anymore. She told the waiter that she did not want the food anymore and to not bother w/ making another. The waiter asked if she wanted her order back. Why would she want food that was unpalatable for her, she said no and ordered another egg roll appetizer instead.I ate my meal and she her rolls, sitting there talking, the male waiter came up and told us that the meal she ordered and could not it, she was still have to pay for it! My friend retorted NO she was not going to pay for it. The waiter continued to insist that it was not hot b/c he tried it and “ he cant tolerate spicy things and it was okay to him.” WHAT!? After I told him his reasoning was flawed, we again told him that we would not be paying for the meal. We told him we would pay for everything else, the drinks, appetizers, and ONE meal. He said if we weren’t going to pay, they were going to call the police! The year 2022 and white people are still calling the cops on black people on some dumb sh*t. This was when the owner/manger came out and excused the waiter and said that they would not be calling the police and listed off dumb reasons to why her customer service sucked; such as, no exchanges or orders as is or food costs or something stupid. Then she had the nerve to say that the waiter was “still in training”. I told her that we would not be coming back her establishment. My friend told her that she had planned to pay for her meal until the waiter came out interrupting our conversation and told her she had to pay for the meal or else. Another customer in the restaurant was also very disgusted by the ordeal and told the owner that is not how you treat customers and that they just lost another one, he asked for his check and he was out. After all that they brought out a check w/ TWO meals included, when asked WTF, they changed the ticket, we paid and bounced.I don’t know what was up w/ this place. I had never been there before but the correct answer is “ I am sorry ma’am, we will make the dish w/ less spice” or “ We will make the meal and put the spice on the side” NOT “taste’s fine to me so pay up or we’ll call the police!”DO NOT EAT HERE!

The food was incredible! I have enjoyed all Thai food in St Paul, MN! Green Curry soup is my favorite. I will one day order in Thai! Thanks for the great food!

The Spicy Noodles and Mango Chicken was so GOOD!!!! Went in for take out and was ready fast. Will be back!!!

The food was great. Everything was clean. They had a great variety of food.

I’ve been coming here for 5 years now (and have been to most other Thai restaurants in the metro) and they never fail to impress. I moved out of state a while back and had the opportunity to move back to St Paul or another city in the Midwest, On’s played a big role in that decision and here I am! ?Side note- do not try to be “brave” and order hot here. They are authentic and if you are not used to it it’ll hurt. That’s on you not the chef.
