Closed for the season. Owner fails to update Google Maps which conflicts with the website. Disappointing to say the least as I heard they were good.
Gigantic and overwhelmingly delicious ice cream. Exceeding all expectations of proportion and quality.
Every single of us were a kid once...We think of hot summers...I believe most kids grew up in the U.S. would think of Ice-cream and the 'small' town you were from...You wish EVERY day was like your childhood. This place is as close it gets. It has a 'small town' feel. No tables/seats inside - people sit outside on picnic tables. ALL the flavors are written on the wall. This place is timeless - it could easily the same decor from the 60s - just like the way I wanted.Be prepared for long lines especially on hot summer day. For the love of G*d, know what you want. Caution: If you can eat beyond the child/kid's size - you should be a diabetic and/or have some serious ice-cream issues. Trust me, just decide on the flavor and start from there.Bring your kid(s)/nephews/nieces etc...corrupt them and make a great memory out of it. I pretty sure they will remember this place for the rest of their childhood.One more thing, like the old days, bring cash. No credit cards.Love this place. I like to 'corrupt' my children once a year here.

Since 1923, Nelson's has been around. Serving sizes are huge, so if they don't mention, which they probably will, keep that in mind. I would never imagine getting larger than a child size for 1 adult, but you know how that can vary. Few dozen flavors and rich as can be.
I love this ice cream spot this place is way better than many branded ice creams you will have.A must stop.They have good quality and quantity as well for a cheap price.You will be mindblown by the taste of it.Usually is crowded especially during summers.I am not sure if they have too many toppings but definitely you will confused which flavors to choose from as they are all delicious.
Best ice cream place I have ever been to! So many different variations of flavors and combinations that you can choose yourself along with humongous portion sizes that will leave you having leftovers. I do recommend going here for some great ice cream and if it's your first time or aren't to fond on eating a mountain of ice cream get the smallest cup they have and trust me you will be satisfied and it will be worth your money!

A single scoop is literally about 6+ scoops of ice cream, for only $5.50! Amazing ice cream, HUGE selection, plenty of outdoor seating. Highly recommend.
We are on vacation in Minneapolis and trying out so many things. This ice cream stop is a must try. One scoop is very very huge, very cheap price and the taste is way better that many famous ice cream brands. After having this ice cream we won't be able to eat Baskin Robbins, cold Stone creamy and Marble slabs.oh and they take cash. Your trip is incomplete without trying this place. 10/10
