Smells wonderful when you walk in! Great service! New outdoor patio area!
Mucci’s deliciously creative homemade Italian cuisine impressed even me. Generous portions with healthy options. But rest assured, you don’t have to eat salad… the pasta is homemade and packed with flavor.
Tim Niver and his entire staff are first class all the way. Feels like home.
Came here for Valentine's Day and had a pleasant experience. We've been to Mucci's several times in the past, once dine in and mostly takeout during the pandemic. So my four star rating is for all the experiences we've had.Today we tried the valentine sampler and my wife got the Bucatini (which is her favorite dish here). The Panzanella salad and Italian wedding soup were both extremely tasty. However the entree, which was some beef filled ravioli was a bit odd in my opinion. Tasted a bit one dimensional. Bucatini was way better.Additionally, I realized later the sampler for 3 courses was $65 which means that each dish was priced at 20+, while Bucatini was $18. No way that my dishes would have been valued that high, especially the soup and salad.I also wish they would have spaced the tables a bit more for Valentine's Day because if this were meant to be a romantic atmosphere it was totally ruined by other parties within 2 feet of us on both sides. Luckily my wife and I aren't on first dates so it was no big deal.Generally we like coming to Mucci's for a medium date night because it's not quite upscale and it's too pricey to be a normal "going out" restaurant. So it fits that in-between place
I would give 5++ stars for the food and the generosity I have been shown in the past by the owner. However, I was disrespected during my Last dining experience. I was alone during Valentine’s Day weekend on Sunday,Spent over $100. However, my server was abrasive, and disrespectful. It is important forService industry folks of higher caliber restaurants to respect all clientele. I noticed the larger party I was next to was treated much more kindly. I happen to be a member of the neighborhood board and have a long standing relationship with the community. I urge you to be considerate of language in customer interaction. You never know who you are serving. I have worked in many high profile, some Michelin star, restaurants in the Chicago area and the way I was spoken to would never be allowed amongst service staff. I love Mucci’s but feel like I cannot recommend a solo dining experience.
I love Mucci's. Have been coming here for many years and it's always a spot I bring out of town guests. The lasagna, pastas, hangover kale, and Mucci's juice are the best. So is the garlic montanara. And don't get me started on the Camilla pizza (which we frequently get for takeout). And don't forget their frozen pizzas too! Highly recommend.
Nothing short of amazing food and very reasonably priced given the high quality. Menu items are unique and satisfying. Definitely try the Camilla Pizza and Hangover Kale. Quaint dine-in experience and take-out is just as good as dine-in.
Fantastic dinner experience. Everything from service, to the focaccia, meatballs, berrata and the chicken parm. It was as authentic as it gets.
This place is a Gem. Great staff and service. We hope they stay in Saint Paul.
Great food reasonably priced
