Honestly, the worst charcuterie board I've had in the cities. Like, a quarter of an apple, some grapes, and the plainest fresh mozzarella I've ever had.Bartender had 0 personality but that's okay. Drinks were okay, but they seem to really want you to order beer or wine. Cocktails are on website but no one hands out a cocktail menu. Very boring spot to drink.

The crab cakes had too much filler in them (i.e., not enough crab), the pappardalle was "boring" and needed more character, the spaghetti with meatballs was "fine" (but not great), and in general, I'd expected the amazing food we enjoyed shortly after Loouis opened. (Maybe the pandemic staffing and supply issues have something to do with this.) Service was fine.

We dined as part of a large (18) group and the staff were great. Very friendly, helpful and on top of things. Nice leisurely meal, did not feel rushed to leave, even on a Friday night. Caesar salad was delicious, came with a parmesan cheese crisp that was so good. They serve the fabulous fresh bread from the bakery downstairs. Loved the Chicken Marsala with polenta. Chicken Parmigiano was huge with pasta and wonderful sauce, cheese. Entrees were on the salty side, but I'll bet they would tone down the seasoning if asked. Very nice decor, welcoming. The outdoor dining area would be great in warmer months.

Excellent dining experience! We went during a pre-concert rush. Despite the restaurant being packed the service was friendly and very attentive, and the food came out incredibly fast and hot. There was a mix-up on one of our entrees not getting put on the ticket, and to make it up to us they comped the entrée and dessert was on them. Even with the mix-up we got our second entrée as fast as we would have normally expected; on average the food was out less than 10 minutes after ordering. The food was fantastic; we loved every bite!Prices are what you'd expect for a upscale, sit-down restaurant; expect to pay $30 - 40 per person without alcohol. Will definitely go again!

Had Saturday night reservations and super excited for a great night out. The Wild game made it impossible to get to the restaurant. It is confusing to me that the restaurant allows its parking lot to be used for events and therefore leaves dining customers with no options. It was a disappointment. We quickly found a reservation elsewhere and probably won't be back.

I made a RESY reservation about 3 months ago and kept getting updates for my 4:45pm reservation for TWO @ Louis Restaruante....the afternoon before i got a CANCELLED email from RESY ( and + i confirmed the Res w manager at resaurante on 20 March)........i wrote RESY an email on the morning of the 22nd March '22,,,and asked them why i was cancelled !! ..in the mean time i called the restaurant and asked why it was cancelled...finally they called me back about noon on day of res./22 march..and put us back in at 4:45pm....i then on the following day of 23,,,got an email form RESY and SAID THE RESTAURANT HAD CANCELLED OUR RES !!! and wasnt them...AND this was contrary to what the Manager at Louis Restaurante had said to me on the phone on 22 March !!! they were lying to me to my face on the phone....as when we walked in and the hostess said " can you please leave as soon as you can ,,as we are overbooked "!!! yes she actually said this to us as we were being seated at our booth....we got two glasses of just ok red and white @$9...and my wife got the RIGATONI NORCINO pasta @ $23...this was a JOKE !! ,,it was a teaspoon of sausage junk w zero/ no garlic flavour on big pasta noodles ...i got the Lasagna w red sauce...it was [email protected] $16....the waitress gal was zero smile and was ants in her pants. and we felt we were being in a big hurry the whole time....its a nice beautiful place..BUT THE STAFF IS CRAZY RUDE- basically saying they were over booked.. ,,, and the Manager lied to me on the phone after the place had 15 people TOTAL in the whole place while we were there from 4:45-5:40 on this day 22 March..2022( only 2 people walked in this "OVERBOOKED Day" the WHOLE time we were there ...DO NOT eat HERE ~~ go to Wild Bills in the Holiday INN for a much better meal and WAYYYY more fun....Dana Redfield,,,Apple Valley.MN ....22 March 2022...fire the staff and Manager...!!!

Best dining experience in downtown St. Paul! Vicky our server was over the top! I can’t remember the last I was so happy to drop over $200 for dinner. She was knowledgeable with everything on the menu. Helped me select a fabulous wine! Such a great time my husband and I had. It was a spontaneous last minute decision to eat in St. Paul. Thank you to Cossetta’s for providing such a fabulous food and dining experience.

My wife and I had dinner here last night. We had their Valentine's special - a 5 course dinner. The food was excellent, but at a certain point all food is good. The difference is who you're with and the quality of service. Both were excellent. Thank you Kaylee for your excellent service.Details of food: It was all quite good. What stands out to me was their pasta, steak (rare to perfection), kale salad, and the spot on wine pairing recommendations. Ionly issue i had was with their Old Fashioned and draught Guinness. A traditional old fashioned, no muddled fruit or club soda, is what I expect from better restaurants. A proper Guinness is a 2 part pour with a firm head. Using a pilsner glass for Guinness will not produce good results.

Excellent evening! Exceptional service and the food was amazing!

Fabulous food, cozy atmosphere, and impeccable service. Waitress was kind, patient, and helpful. Food was timely and delicious! I love the ambience.
