Very small place, the way the floor is set up, you walk in and have 3 walls of pastries, you better hope you're alone if you plan on looking. I had a mother with her kids waiting and it just feels so cramped. I wanted to grab some coffee to go as well but it's on the back wall opposite the pastry walls so I felt it easier to just pay for my donuts and go. A bit overwhelming due to its small size, otherwise the decor is welcoming.

They don’t make cakes anymore, and that’s too bad. It was a very large chunk of business. Things look good, though.

Please bring Paris Brest back. No one does them like you. ?

What an awesome French bakery! We got onion buns, donuts as well as pastries. Not a single thing was less than utterly delicious! Will definitely be back when in St. Paul, and I suggest you do the same.

Driving back from the airport and wanted some goodies. Cute little shop and I loved the aesthetic. But a little disappointed with some pastries and donuts. Some were dry and the flavor wasn’t all there. I would come back and give it another try, as people in the neighborhood do love this bakery.

My favorite place for croissants in the Twin Cities. Cheerful and welcoming staff, wonderful baked goods, and (at least for me) convenient hours. I make a point of stopping past La Boulangerie Marguerite every week for croissants and coffee. Delightful neighborhood find!!

We stopped by just after noon on a Saturday in hopes of grabbing something for lunch and were not disappointed! We had the ham and cheese croissants and got some pastries for the road; the croissants were incredible, as the dough was delicious and flaky, but also moist, and it had the perfect balance of meat and cheese. Just heavenly! Also, being back in the Midwest, I was excited to see bismarks (jelly-filled, sugar coated donuts) - maybe I was just hungry, but it was the best bismark I've ever had, no exaggeration. Not soggy, not overly sweet. Pretty sure that all others will pale in comparison now. Thanks for that! This place has come a long way since its PJ Murphy days! We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town.

This is a beautiful café that makes select espresso and provides one of the best French pastry and bread displays. Highly recommend it!

Not sure why all the 5 star ratings. I went there at 10:00 a.m. on a Friday morning and everything I ordered was day old or really poorly made or stored. Service was weird because when I went in the store the young woman who waited on me made me feel like I was in the wrong place and not at all friendly. Actually the blueberry cream cheese pastry tasted older than a day It's also really expensive for what you get.

My favorite bakery. I'm glad I'm able to walk here and pick up baked treats. The owners are good people, too
