Enjoyed great service by Dan and the food was tasty. Definitely a great special dinner kind of place. Went for my husband’s and my birthday and they added cute decor to the table and nice extra treats throughout the night.

My husband made reservations last night and I was super excited as we had a wonderful meal a few years ago. We each ordered different dishes off the 4 course menu and honestly it was all awful, neither of us could even come close finishing a single course. I eat everything and love food of all sorts, but this was all truly inedible. 4 courses of tasteless mush. The owner came by mid second course and I said it was fine as I was just hoping the next courses would be on par with what we had before. They weren’t. My husband’s pork ossobuco looked like it had been boiled in water, it was a gray color with little to no sauce or seasoning and it tasted nearly as bad as it looked. The best part of the meal was the service which was perfect. When I called to give feedback, not even looking for a refund, the owner was just not very open to hearing me out and was actually very rude and condescending. It was by far the worst meal we’ve ever had out and between that and the owner’s remarks on the phone we will not be returning. I’ve never felt compelled to leave a bad review for anywhere in my life before now.
One of the best meals that I have had in a very long time. We chose the wine pairings and I enthusiastically recommend it. Each course had just the right accompaniment. Oh the desserts were amazing! Thank you to the staff at Joan's for making our night special!
The perfect choice for our first real date since the pandemic. There were moments when I got emotional from a sublime bite, realizing how long it’s been since I’ve enjoyed a true restaurant experience like this. The wine pairings were thoughtful and my husband had the smoothest Manhattan of his life. The entire experience brought back the joy in dining that we’ve missed for so long. Thanks to Dan for escorting us through an exceptional meal and welcoming us to the neighborhood. We will absolutely return.
One of the finest meals I've ever had (and I've been lucky enough to eat at some of the best restaurants in the world).All four courses were perfectly cooked, and the well-designed menu made course selection foolproof. My girlfriend and I literally cleaned our plates of every course. Wonderful.
I can't wait to come back again. The service was beyond what I ever expected. From the moment we sat down it was a 5 star experience. The food was delicious, the atmosphere cozy, and the wine pairing was a blast.
The food is really good, but not amazing. Although the experience as a whole was great (quiet, prompt, great service, etc), I'm not totally convinced it was worth the price.
