Amazing dinner and great service! The menu is small but the dishes are made with the highest quality ingredients and the flavors are delicious! Loved it!
Words can’t describe the service and food quality! Wow!! Lisha was AMAZING! Her recommendations and food and beverage inspo was out of this world. If you are considering the culinary scene in Saint Paul you must consider this as a top 5 option. Absolutely fantastic. Thanks for an amazing and memorable experience!
I ate here twice and the tartare and the amari flight are definitely worth it. The panna cotta was a good size for the cost. I had the cacio e pepe and found the noodles undercooked and also had the mussel pasta and a few of the mussels had grit in them still. I was expecting more for a James Beard (nominee?) restaurant. I also want to say watching their cooks use their cell phones while cooking was a bit off-putting. Cell phones are disgusting and full of germs to then watch them handle food after.
Best Italian food in the cities. Lovely limited menu and some of the best cocktails around.
Fantastic little place and a wonderful spot for a date night! James, our server was incredibly welcoming and made us feel like we've been regulars forever. Menu is limited but fantastic, you really can't go wrong with anything here. Their version of Italian is different then most you find in Minnesota, but I guarantee you will love it. Be sure to start off with the fried olives if you are a fan of green olives!
We have been here a few times and while the food is good and we really like the chef- the wait staff has been so rude it has made our experience really uncomfortable. I completely understand this is a difficult time for everyone, especially for waitstaff and the restaurant industry. My husband works in the industry and we are very easy going and grateful guests. Right off the bat our waitress was very short with us. When we walked in she had her arms crossed and didn't smile at us the entire night. She rolled her eyes when I asked if she had any recommendations for a main course. The restaurant is cute and cozy, but unfortunately the blonde waitress we have been seated with the last few times has been so rude that we just did not enjoy our meal. The restaurant was not busy when we were in there either time so I am not sure why there was a need to be acting like that. We tried to smile and make jokes to ease the tension- but after spending a few hundred dollars there, it is not worth it. There are so many other places in Saint Paul with great food and much nicer staff.
Bad Italian food is what most of us have grown up eating. A place that cooks proper Molto al dente pasta so it is Al Dente on the plate and perfectly sauced is extremely rare. We shared most of the appetizers and the pasta dishes with a party of 5 and reordered a couple things that we collectively felt were sublime...the Brussel Sprouts and an Italian XO sauce Mezze maniche. Having a limited menu that changes is what a proper bistro is all about. Already planning our next visit.....BRAVO

Really excellent food and cocktails. The service was attentive and authentic. Our first time here and it was such a nice cozy vibe. Definitely recommend and will be back!
One of my favorite restaurants in Minnesota. It’s not a big restaurant so I love the coziness of it. We sat at the counter by the bar (highly recommend) and got to watch them making our drinks and food. Portion size tends to be on the smaller side but that means you get to order more and try different things!
