Best sopes in the Twin Cities. Authentic Mexican food; reminded me of places my wife and I stopped in while traveling through San Luis Potosí. The one comment I saw referring to the to-go serving of the food and lack of table service comes off as grossly privileged. The husband and wife team who own and run Homi are wonderful, hardworking people who care deeply about their food and the community they serve. If you want authentic Mexican food, this is your spot.
Good food and fast service.
Great food! Large portions and easy to find. Without question a great place to eat! Authentic Mexican food! Everyone I've taken there or recommended to has become a regular customer!
Best Bria Tacos ever!!!! Rice and Beans were good as well. Didn’t give 5 stars because the Rice and Beans were lukewarm.
Birria tacos are delicious , the short main cashier is so funny she see me and she always in a good mood laughing about something. Prices are decent can get a bit busy at night before closing.
The best Mexican food in Minnesota Hands down. I've had authentic from Mexico and this is ? worth every penny and no one can compare at all
Sadly not impressed, just disappointed.Decent food not great. Lazy unfriendly staff- we had to order at the counter even though we were the only ones in the place – they wouldn’t even bring us menus. We were shocked by the fact that when we received our food every single thing was in a Styrofoam or plastic to-go container , lids and all….and we were eating right there, what’s with that? No sign of any recycling so everything had to go in the trash which was basically in the middle of the “ dining room”. I asked for a slice of lime and was told it would be an additional $1.50. Never in my life have I been charged extra for a slice of lime with my Mexican food and I’ve had a lot of Mexican food. The quest for great Mexican in a fun environment continues.
A true gem for authentic Mexican. We ordered tacos and enchiladas, noting the homemade sauces and tortillas. The guacamole was amazing. Highly recommend.
I know it’s an odd detail, but their refried beans are like the best beans I’ve ever had. I ask them for just a tub of it sometimes and eat it with their fresh tortillas and salsas. Everything is so yummy and obviously homemade & having something as simple as beans and tortillas be so quality is a good sign of everything else on the menu.
The food is perfect if it's on the menu. My daughter ordered Carne asada fries ( fries, guacamole, sour cream, cheese and steak. Normally if places don't have it on the menu but have the ingredients to make it they charge up to $18. This place charged us almost $30 for steak on fries. To top off the night they forgot 2 items I ordered, rice and beans. But in all fairness they make bomb Mexican food.
