Sad. As I have loved their wings but they have priced me put of their restaurant! What order used to be 20 now is 40! Too much. I didn't like their egg foo yong. Their chicken friend rice has cubes of processed chicken and all I like are the wings. I am still on shock at how much their prices went up. I only get vegetable fried rice there. That is good but too expensive.
I was looking forward to getting some chicken wings. I don’t know who decided it was a good idea to refry this chicken instead of making a fresh batch. Ordered egg rolls, szechuan shrimp cream cheese puffs and yang chow fried rice which was great. Only my 6 year old ate those refried dry wings.
My mother, children and my ex husband went to this establishment one Sunday expecting great food and service. We had a Tex here in the past so it was good back then. But this experience was really bad. We got a table on tone and was sat. The waitress was very friendly but DID NOT listen to detail. We ordered drinks and the server forgot my ex husband’s drink for more than 20 min. Then they did NOT have two items on the menus that my mothers wanted. She wanted the fried shrimp and next the fried fish with the head on. And neither were available. So then she asked for the steak fish. My mother asked how much it was because the price was not on the menu. The sever never told her and then proceeded to ring her up and give her the fish. Long Story short. The price was on a sticky note at the front counter and NOT ON THE MENUE! $45 for a steak fish! They refute compensate her in any way because the price was NOT visible for customers to see on the menus but in the front of the restaurant! We will never come back! Kong’s Kitchen on Arcade in East St. Paul will always have our busy now! Prices are clear on the menu and presentation and taste are above level!
The reviews rave , but to be honest it's bland , cheap , over priced and gross . The shrimp had all the pooh the rice was bland the eggroll literally left a puddle of grease in the bag it was in , in the paper bag the rest of the food was in and leaked all over , tasted like oilI wouldn't talk this place up and for the price won't come back . But otherwise the staff and service is prompt , just not good quality, very cheap . No peapods but peasGross, bland. I feel little bad for being so honest but if you really want good Chinese, this will disappoint

Hot and Sour Soup is by far the best I have ever eaten. Was very impressed with the Shrimp in Black Bean Sauce. Great portions. Well worth the drive in the blizzard last night to get there
We really wanted to like it. But it missed the marks on pretty much everything for us. We did the lunch buffet. The chicken wings were pretty decent, and definitely the best thing offered. Service was friendly at first but then suddenly not so much. We were disappointed. We love to support local restaurants, but we won't be back.
Thier prices have gone up, but with this pandemic everyone's has, I still go at least once a week. The buffet isn't large but the choices are in A excellent!! The food is always piping hot and thier hot sour soup is one of the best in the city AND if you've never tried the fried sea bass, I don't know what you are doing with your life... It is too DIE FOR!!!
My favorite restaurant! I have been coming here since I was young and my grandparents lived on the east side, for about 22 years. I’ll always come back! Amazing food, amazing service, great take out.
I ordered pulled pork szechuan and a Coke. My wife ordered #126 - Chicken Chow Mein new style(has crispy noodles). And an order of chicken wings. All the vegetables are julienne cut, even in the Chow Mein. Just an FYI. It doesn't detract from the great flavor. Just a little different texture.
