Funky little family-owned restaurant, only doing Take Out. Pretty much close to zero ambiance, but it has a homespun, Chinese restaurant feel, comfortable like an old shoe. I think the front person is the owner, don't know for sure. She is efficient , if a bit loud. Food, which is what really matters, is very good! I had chicken mushroom sub gum, which could have had more chicken and mushrooms, and pork fried rice with a perfect balance of pork and fried rice, both very good, satisfying, and Not Overly Salty! Prices seemed a tad high, but I am out of touch with that, so I could be wrong. None of my comments overshadow the fact that the food was delicious and satisfying, and the lady in front was good at her job, and grateful for my business. It was not a long wait, despite a steady stream of takeouts. I tipped her, because it would be a serious loss to them, and the neighborhood to see them close. Go. Taste for yourself. See why they have so many long term customers, decades of loyal people eating their food. Then go to Lilydale, down by the river, & eat your delicious food, while watching the Mississippi River roll it's way through America's heartland, on the way to New Orleans.
10/10!!!! Five stars isn't a high enough grading for this special gem on 7th. This hole-in-the-wall corner spot has been my #1 for nearly 30 years!!! BEST CHOWMEIN EVER!!!! No other can even come close! Truly the very best and DEFINITELY GOLDEN chowmein!!! The personable, family-friendly staff just tops it right off to perfection!

Great Chinese place! Tried it for the first time today - the food tasted amazing and you could tell it was made with care. Prices are very reasonable also, I will definitely be back!
If you call this good Chinese food I feel sorry for you, especially the fact that you obviously haven't had the chance to enjoy real quality Chinese food! There orange chicken is garbage almost seems like boxed chicken soaked in sauce. Honestly panda express is better and that's low quality what I call knockoff Chinese food. The chow main is average nothing spectacular. Only way I'd eat here again is if nothing else was open , and I was completely starving .
Very good, excellant fried rice, chow main is very good- a bit to much celary for me, the right spices for sure. I will be back.
Very satisfied with my very tasty meal I had from here. Highly recommend their chicken wings, as it had the perfect crunchiness and flavor. It was also for an amazing price!!! Come here!!!???
