Went for the first time and we loved the brisket and pulled pork sandwich. The staff was friendly and attentive. Must try this place!
I had Firebox for the first time today. It paired perfectly for a take out get together with my guy friends and a couple beers. When I got home I explained to my wife that it's better than Famous Dave's and a little bit better value. I had the brisket and it was tender and well prepared with a delicious outer layer. As for my sides, the mac-and-cheese was delicious and perfectly prepared but the coleslaw wasn't crispy the way it should be and lacked the "zing" I was hoping for. I'm still giving these guys a 5 based on quality, value, and diversity of food options in the neighborhood. The employees were friendly and working well together! One thing that frustrates me they don't have an "about us" on the website. I have no clue if this is the kind of locally family owned business that I love to support? 5-stars for sure if it is!
Very good food! Mac and cheese delish...I don't know if it's what I ordered, but they cut their rib tips different from how they used to, they aren't meaty that's why I gave four stars
Overated AF! Ribs are boiled and over cooked. Greens need some TLC. Mac-N-Cheese need seasoning. Fries were good, but I didn't come for just fries. Won't be back!
Came here with my coworkers because we love brisket. Got a pound of brisket for myself and we shared an order of the rib tips because we heard good things about it. Did not disappoint for the most part.It was a warm/hot day and they could've turned up the AC.They have about 10 small tables but they do fill up quick if you're there during rush hour.
My beef brisket was super tender and delicious I would recommend going here over famous Dave's any day and family owned and local
Honestly the meat itself is probably more a 4 out of 5. The sides are really bland. They just have no flavor, and the bbq sauce is just okay. That combined with the not welcoming service and frustration of actually finding the front door. It was just an okay experience
Amazing food and even better service! Wings, brisket and ribs all so great! Even tried the collard greens, which are not my favorite, but these were super good.
Elizabeth was amazing from the second I entered the establishment, such a sweetheart! This was my first time at the location and I was just really eager to leave a positive review based off my experience already, and my food was done quick like 10 mins!
Had the 2 meat combo! Ribs and chicken wings! Came with two sided had the season fried and coleslaw also Texas toast! Good price!
