This used to be our place to go...graduations, birthdays fun...this place has gone way downhill. We went there for Fathers day, We were told right from the beginning it would be an hr wait for food. It was so hot out and the air conditioning was non exsistent. We asked the employees if they could at least turn up the air and they were told they could not. We ended up leaving but my husband did speak with the manager and instead of listening she barked back to him. So sad because we really did love this place.
The staff are friendly and helpful. Walking distance to a couple good restaurants to eat at. They had a water leak while I was there but I was kept informed about the water shut off that was needed to repair. There are many parking spots but if you get there after 6pm you will probably have to park across the street in overflow.
BBQ is real good - not exceptional - but strong. Good sauce selection. Great sides. This location is “order at the counter” and they bring the food to table. Good service. I’ve been here dozens of times - never too busy. I often enjoy BBQ before or after a trip to MSP. The airport is extremely close by. Great car wash next door if you have an extra 10 mins.
I always forget this is here and it has been a little while since I have gone to famous Dave's, but it is pretty adequate food. I prefer to shop at local restaurants rather than chains, but decent BBQ is few and far between in the cities these days. The employees are usually quick and helpful though!
I am a local door dasher who dashes for a little extra money every month. I have never had an experience like the one that my father and I had today. We were picking up an order and my dad was looking at the to go orders to see if the name of the customer we were picking up for was ready to go. A blonde male individual that was working was incredibly rude to my dad and stated “Next time check with us first”. All my dad did was look. He did not touch any of the bags and even let the individual hand him the bag. There is a better way to speak to customers and customers that are providing a service to your restaurant. Have a little bit more class next time and don’t profile everyone as a bad guy because you have issues with people just grabbing bags and leaving. It’s totally understandable to want people to check with the employees first before getting bags but there’s a better way to speak with a little respect and class. A little training on proper communication techniques can go along way. Dashers are people too. I promise I will not be eating at this restaurant EVER again and this will be reported to DoorDash also.
Vincent made sure it was the best dining experience we had in a really long time. Great service!! It was a Saturday night during final 4 too yet their service exceeded expectation. They treated the birthday girl with special priority too (candle topped sundaes)
everything is delicious.
Came here today and the cashier was very nice and patient! Food was amazing and got done very fast. Never knew about the "Feast for Two Tuesday" until recently- great deal for a ton of food ^^
I just want to say the pizza and service at this location is great. Now for the app, frustrating is you can't use a gift card to pay. So I have to call the place, which adds another hiccup if I want to use the rewards program. And tonight I called 20 minutes before closing, got sent to a call center who took 10 minutes to take my order and gave me a time to pick up after they closed. They then asked that I call the store, but by that point there was no direct line to them. I guess it's a pizza night.
