Went there for the 1st time since 2012. There was the best 1 man band playing some really great music. People came in from the wild game and it was so fun. Everyone out by 12. Honestly, make the trip!
Food is and was Amazing My Burger n Fries and My Bourbon BBQ Wang's was Amazingly Delicious the Dranks was yummy. They Manager B Holmes and the rest of the Staff was Friendly and I was glad to be with My Nephew again.
My family had lunch here on a Saturday, the location is fantastic if you are visiting Xcel center or the science museum, it was not busy, the waitress was nice, and the food came out quick. The food however was very average, slightly below in my opinion. My kids had the chicken strips and they were way overcooked and tasted like fish. I had the big Joe smoked pulled pork, I think the coleslaw they put on there was so wet it just ruined the sandwich, judging by the flavors the sandwich was potential but this was a flop.
Went after the wild game to avoid after-game traffic. They had a great musician, drinks were reasonably priced, and enough TV's to watch other sports on. You did have to go to the bar to get service, so don't expect table service, but that wasn't a bad deal, I would just suggest taking turns buying rounds for your group to get faster service.
The food was really good with bigger servings but the service was uncomfortable. You have to wait to be seated and the host didn’t lead us to our table; he just pointed and said “you can sit at that one over there.” I made a substitution to my order and asked for another and the waitress said “I already made one exception to your food I can’t make another,” which I found odd, I even said I didn’t mind paying more but she still wouldn’t let me. Would be such a great place with a great atmosphere if the employees hadn’t been so off-putting during my experience!
A bit pricey, but the service was great and the food came fast. The breading on the chicken sandwich was a little dense. The mustard for the pastrami is fairly horseradish-ey. Overall, a good experience.Only real complaint is there are insufficient toilets for a restaurant of this size.
We came here before a Wild game… I understand that is when they are probably the busiest, but we got seated and got no service. Like literally we sat there for an hour and nobody came to our table. At one point we asked for somebody to be sent over, and it never happened. We had to go to the bar to order drinks. What was the point in waiting 35 mins for a table if we would never be served? Don’t waste your time if you’re looking for food or service.
Nice location downtown near Xcel and 7th Street. Had a nice flatbread but burger was a little dry. I wish the beer list was a little bigger, but very nice place.
The only good thing about this place is the ambiance hence the two stars. I only go here for convenience and/or because people I'm with want to go here....but WHY? This place will do anything to cut corners. Recent Examples....no orange slices in the blue moons, no beer chasers with the bare bones bloodies (ask and you will get), no salsa or sour cream with the Nachos (who doesn't service salsa with nachos..no flavor at all)....this is just one day of orders at our table and may sound petty, but it happens all the time with almost everything on the menu...something is just wrong or missing. Years ago they were top notch but no longer....if you can't make an effort than sell to someone that can....
This place was amazing. Recently priced food and drinks. Was there prior to a wild game. Was blown away by the swift service for how busy it was. Probably one of the best servers I've seen in years. Thank you for the great service.
