What a lovely surprise of a great meal! We came here just expecting a normal sandwich, but boy were we wrong! By far the best sandwich in the twin cities and the tomato basil soup was incredible!! Can’t wait to go back and try something new. Such a cute and perfect place- except for the parking situation ?

Hidden Gem! GO! My wife convinced me that we should go there before we moved. Now I am sorry that we didn’t go sooner. Nice snazzy menu of Italian sandwiches and salads. Many young local 29-year olds and urban professionals filled the seats. The wait staff all bright and friendly. Most importantly, their food is top notch.

I debated the 1/2 and 1/2 but settled on the smoked turkey street sandwich. It was delicious! A little salty at times but still good. I tried their homemade chips and they were fantastic as well. Will definitely be back when in the mood for an upscale sandwich.

I wish I could give this place a 3.5. I “almost” loved it. For me the presentation of our food for the price (while eating outside) was the deal breaker. My husband and I visited for an early dinner last Friday. We actually almost left because when we got there it appeared they were closed. It was 5. Other guests came later. The food options were very much up my alley. My husband and I ordered a prosciutto focaccia, a roasted beet salad, and 2 cocktails. With tip somehow this was $60? Should have checked the receipt. We chose to dine outside which absolutely everyone that came did that night. It was a beautiful night. When our food was delivered it was packaged “to go”. No plates. Our salad was squeezed into a plastic container. There was supposed to be goat milk ricotta on the salad but just a slight smear on side of container- not enough to taste even in one bite. The food all tasted good. I just feel like they are charging the prices of a nice restaurant while offering the service of a fast food place. I would be willing to pay those prices if my cocktail was not in a tiny plastic cup and my salad was nicely presented on a plate- not if I order at a counter and eat at a picnic table without a plate. We were still hungry after so walked to an ice cream shop. We were interested in their dessert options but felt we had already over paid.

Had lunch here. Just on my way to the airport. I’m so sad I wont be able to return because I live in Texas. My smoked turkey sandwich was amazing! I also had the beet salad which was fantastic! Their focaccia bread is outstanding! Such a fun place!

New fave place to get food! I've only had their turkey foccacia but it's delicious and the sandwiches are a great size! love the tomato basil soup and the dash of cream they put on it.

This unassuming spot on a sunny St. Paul street corner has been many things over the years and this latest iteration makes me glad it is what it is now. Friendly service, great atmosphere and artisan focaccia were the foundation recently for a fun lunch with a friend. Street parking and its own lot make coming and going even easier.

I was expecting a deli and to be very bored. No. Charm coming at you from all sides. It smells delicious inside. I guess it's kind of a deli, you order at the counter anyway. But they bring you food. I ordered a manhattan and the bartender did a good job with it. We came up with someone good for my wife with vodka and St. Germain. We shared a beet salad and we each had a focaccia sandwich. They had vegetarian options. Glad we went there, I had been pushing for another, seemingly fancier, restaurant. About $75 for two with tip.

Best sandwich near the twin cites!! The drinks looked good too so will definitely come back and try more things. The pasta looked really good!!

The food is decent, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. When I mentioned that the tomato basil soup had absolutely no basil in it, the girl at the counter shrugged and walked away. It also seems to be very expensive for what you get.
