ordered the lamb key wot (10) and the misiri kay wot (21). they were both so good with my favorite being the lamb. the servers were also so nice!
Around 7pm I spent and hour at "Sana" around the corner up dale..(there are a few restaurants in the area). I left, and called ahead to Demera, I ordered successfully over the phone! And was told to be there in 20mins. I was able to pay, get in and out with my food, with no wait time at all. And it was about 830pm. Now heading home with my orders beeftibs, and lamb stew ? ? JUST HAD A LITTLE TASTE. ? the taste of culture was unmatched today. ?And I'm about to SMASH.!.
Delicious and wonderful experience! Very authentic cuisine. Service was prompt and and the food was delicious!! Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend the veggie combo and the doro wat! The veggie combo comfortably feeds 2 people.
Split the vegetable platter with a friend and it's all SO GOOD. Pairs well with a cold beer, AND it was only $12 per person! Can't recommend this place enough.
This is currently our favorite Ethiopian restaurant in the twin cities. The food is always good. Expect some spicy heat in most dishes if you are unfamiliar with the food.Be aware that you will eat with your hands.
The Demera, is the one of the best food and well cook Africa Ethiopia ?? restaurant, their dishes are affordable and with Ethiopia grain called Tiffany, one food is big and one would think is not he/she food alone. I recommend you try their meet special (Demera special) and if you are vegan try - their mixes veges. ?. Enjoy
We dined in at this restaurant and ordered the veggie combo platter and lentils. The food was really good, however I don’t think it was very fresh as the food came out in about 7 minutes.The service was very friendly and welcoming. We love Ethiopian food and this place did not disappoint overall.
