Seems like someone might have called in sick last minute, as they had closed the inside pretty early (around 5 or 6 pm) on a nice spring night. So the drive thru took a long time, understandably as they were seemingly short staffed. I didn't announce my coupons at order and there was a long delay at the window with confusion on getting those entered. Meanwhile our ice cream turned to liquid. No biggie, just not a great time had by all! I'll bump it up to 3 bc I've had good experiences in there prior.

Went after a round of golf craving a simple vanilla cone at the drive through. Ended up waiting almost 30 minutes when the parking lot was half empty and there were 2 other cars in line. Disgraceful. When I got to the window the woman handed me a tiny blizzard cup. My simple order had been gotten completely wrong, but I took the cup anyways if only to spare myself more time waiting. $3.87 I was charged. Opening the cup I was appalled to see a monstrosity of what can only be described as having similar texture and visual as child’s throw up. It had already been completely melted into an appalling mess, and was completely inedible. This experience was enough to make me never want to give Dairy Queen my business again. Steer clear of the drive through in highland park. This incompetent establishment fails to follow through on the simplistic of tasks.

Worst DQ. Got there 15mins to close- doors locked not allowing anyone inside. I understand you’ve got to clean up at the end of your shift but really?? You’re still open. Anyway, I then go in the drive through. They took every car before us and then it was our turn to order and they tell us there system just crashed so they’re done taking orders. These people are not too subtle about not wanting to work.

I don't normally write reviews for establishments, but the level of disdain I have for this place is incredible. Not only are the workers lazy, but they are super rude and just decide to close whenever they want, regardless of what their hours are. No apology, no explanation. They are also often out of main ingredients. I'm embarrassed to occasionally try going back in hopes that they've improved.

Drive thru lady was the rudest ever. Had to repeat my order over and over again. And I asked to have a basket just no fries. And she was like you have to take the fries and I told her my daughter and I don't want the fries. And I asked her to please give me a spoon for my shake and she said what for and I told her for my shake..."DUH" and instead she gives me a straw. Rudest and dumbest staff. Also their chicken strips are so tiny for the price...not pleased!!!

It was 8:45pm, 15 minites before close. We pulled up to the drive-thru, they said they were closed. We proceed around and there's a car at the window taking an order. I pulled up after and asked the heavy set lady with blue hair at window what time they closed and she was very rude. Rolled her eyes and said that was the last customer and just close the window. It was 15 min before closing. Just unacceptable.

Waited in line in side decided to go outside waited another 20 minutes in the drive through for them to day it wasn’t open. They screened at me through the speaker, then I kindly said hey! Probably should get a sign out here as people are waiting. Then they screened at me more and more. Strange.

We ordered a cheeseburger and French fries at the drive thru and they told us to pull up to the wait area and they would bring our order out, but after waiting 20 minutes my boyfriend went in and there was only 2 employees working but still it shouldn't take that long. Then 1 hour later we went back for a ice cream cone inside and the girl apologized for the delay on our food order. But overall I will go back again.

I took my two grandkids here recently. One had a gift card & she wanted to pay for her and her cousin. We pull up to the drive thru ( inside is closed to public) and I said," Hi, we would like two banana splits with a gift card for the kids in the back and I would like 3 blizzards ," and before I could tell her what kind, she said, " We can't do that!". She said they can't do two orders! I asked for the manager, thinking ? maybe she didn't understand what we needed. Nope, the manager told me the same thing ?. I said," So I have to order for them. Drive out of here and get back in line to get my order? " She said, "yes." By then, we would have one heck of a mess in the backseat from banana ? splits! WHY couldn't they take the giftcard? THEN take my card or cash? INSTEAD they lost customers. They also told me I can't order the $30 worth of cupcakes I used to get twice a monthly forn elderly group. When you report it, they don't care? Read the responses after all the complaints,lol. I just don't get y! And this has been going on for a few years ?! What shame!

Got the $6 lunch box I was disappointed the burger was old and rubbery could have gotten a better burger at a gas station
