Came here earlier this week and created my own bowl. Aldric was extremely helpful and friendly. He was extremely patient with me considering I did not know exactly what I wanted. The place itself is really nice , very open with lots of natural lighting. The wait was extremely short. I came around 7p on Friday. The food itself was perfect. I would definitely return. My only complaint is the pricing. It seems slightly expensive; however they do provide you with plenty of food. I’massuming the pricing can be due to providing premium ingredients.
1st time there and I was Very Impressed with the selection of Salads and a great stop to add to the Healthier Choices of Foods. Great Staff also.. I'll be back sooner than later. Highly recommended! ! ! !
First time my husband and I went here was downtown Minneapolis- we were so stoked on this place! We only wish there was a Crisp & Green in California!!! Come to Southern California- Santa Barbara area!!
If I could, I would read this as zero. I visited on a Friday afternoon at 4 PM there was one customer in line in front of me and three in line behind me. There were four employees working all of which were standing talking to one another facing the back wall. Not a single employee lifted their head to greet any customer or ask how they could help them we all stood there for at least 10 minutes waiting to purchase a salad. At one point I had to look over at the employees and ask are you even open? One customer in line behind me walked out of the store and I soon followed as well as the people behind me. You lost four customers in a matter of 10 to 15 minutes because not a single employee could greet someone or sell a salad. I will not be back. 20$ for a salad plus this type of service ? Not worth it
My 65-year-old mother is allergic to basil, an allergy she developed after receiving treatment for lymphatic cancer. When ordering a salad in this store, my mother alerted the C&G staff person to her allergy. She was assured that the salad she had selected contained no basil.By her second bite, it was clear that the salad did in fact contain basil — her mouth and throat become sore and swollen. Of course she could not continue eating the salad. Subsequently, she learned that the “proprietary” spice mix used on the chicken in the salad did in fact contain basil, despite what she was told in the store. When she related this story to the store manager, by phone, she was not even offered a refund for the salad she was unable to eat; she was told that she could receive a $15 gift certificate if and only if she revisited the store, in person, though she lives nowhere near the store.C&G must take their customers allergies more seriously, to avoid doing serious harm to them. Furthermore, they must respond with greater solicitude when they make mistakes. I’m glad my mother didn’t wind up in the hospital. She won’t be back to this or any other branch of Crisp & Green and neither will I.
Edit: Love the Buffalo bowl from here!. Just wanted to add that the utensil area needs a little cleaning. The area around the containers in which they are stored as well as the utensils themselves look dirty (the eat-in flatware).Delicious food and kind employees! Just took one star off for the music, it can be really loud and you can hardly hear the employees when ordering.
We ordered 5 meals for pick up and when we got home realized one was missing. I called to ask for a refund, but the manager was just leaving anyway and she offered to drop the meal off at my door. She was there in a few minutes. Amazing!
Long wait even for something I ordered online. My bowl was sitting on the counter, and I could see it, but nobody would talk to me so I could tell them that was mine to pick up. They were very busy. They need at least two more people to work there on a Saturday at lunch time. But the food is delicious!
Don’t bother ordering ahead, it’s not going to be ready on time. Whatever time you’d like, plan to be there an additional 15 minutes. Third time in a row, I ordered ahead for scheduled drive up time, call when arrive, no answer, go inside, terrible customer service, order still not ready. *not busy inside.
I’ve been coming to this location for a while. Today I had a bad experience. I waited at least 10 minutes at the checkout waiting for someone to come take my smoothie order. I finally had to ask someone if I can place an order. It then took another 10 mins to finally get my smoothie. It wasn’t even busy and there was at least 6 workers there.
