It is in your best interest to eat here… it’s TO. DIE. FOR. ?
Went to Grand Ave location for the first time. Nice spacious interior. Two of us had the special: caprese Benedict. The other guy had a Cubano. Good food, fairly quick service, good coffee.
Colossal Cafe is absolutely amazing! I've tried the pancakes, the bulgogi burrito, the Scandinavian frittata, etc. Definitely check this place out for breakfast or lunch as they close at 2 p.m. Arrive early as they are busy, even up to close!
The food was amazing! I got biscuits and gravy and it was soooo good. You can tell everything was made from scratch. ?
My fiancé and I stopped here during a quick visit to the Twin Cities. It is a very small restaurant so expect to wait if you go on a weekend morning. We were finally seated at the breakfast bar and enjoyed an amazing cappuccino made by the barista and simple breakfast. The homemade jams were a delicious plus.We hope to visit again next time we’re in St. Paul!
colossal café isn’t colossal at all. When it first opened it was great. But, it has gone downhill ever since. On the weekends their are lines outside to get in. Very limited seating. More expensive than it should be. Quality is not good. They have outdoor dining which is just chairs on the sidewalk. Not very appetizing. There are better places in the neighborhood to eat.
Very good Breakfast spot. The service is great and the wait to get a table is usually very short. It's a small place but not too cramped. The food portions are generous, and everything is made from scratch including the sourdough bread!
The coffee was very tasty!!! The cinnamon rolls were huge. The fruit ones were way better then the apples and bri pancake!!! It was just too syrupy and the apples were gross. The fruit ones were super fresh.
Get the Cinnabon!!!!! The omelets were amazing. Worst pancakes ever had, too thick, my seven year old took a bite and yelled it’s raw! All else was great. If you flapper fan avoid.
Lovely hidden gem in historic part of St. Paul. Accompanying a small well rounded menu was an in house cafe offering delectable drinks. Food was prepared quickly and was pleasantly different from other breakfast establishments. I suggest the Korean beef bowl personally but suspect you won't have a difficult time finding something you'd like on the menu.
