Nice little gem in the Intercontinental St Paul hotel. They close at 11, but accommodated our entire group, despite arriving at 10:50! Was pretty surprised with the food, it was pretty tasty! A little disappointed with how small the fresh fruit cup was considering the price, but the staple breakfast items were killer! Prices were otherwise pretty reasonable.
We went out for date night and a wild game and went here just because it was in our hotel… We ordered the wings and cheese curds and will definitely choose this place if we are staying at the hotel or not. They were the real deal!
A New Fashioned with wheat whiskey, Demerara cuba, bitters, muddled blackberry, club soda and thyme plays off an Old Fashioned.
The food was solid. The service was great the people were very nice. we were expecting the bar and everything to be closed. But they were allowing us to have to go orders.
Just okay food. I swear we were the only 3 diners in the place that night. Which was likely the cause of the overzealous refilling of our water glasses. Too attentive.

Good food. Nicely decorated. Good location. Empty restaurant on a Saturday night.
I just want to say Denise the Bartender is Wonderful she is so sweet and I had a Great Experience while I was here. Highly recommend, we need more people like Denise.
I stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel in St. Paul for a couple days on business. Had the pleasure of coming to their bar and restaurant, Citizen, while there. This place has a great bar/happy hour scene. Great cocktails and wine assortment. I like that they had wine pairing suggestions on their menu. Breakfast was very good. Had the make your own omelette choice, which was delicious. The next day I had lunch there. Had the endive and greens salad with salmon added to it, which was very good. Yes, it’s a little pricey, but c’mon, this is in the Intercontinental. This isn’t a Perkins. Overall enjoyable!
Just okay. Servers were pleasant. Food was acceptable. Filet was a bit overdone and chewy. Wine was a good pairing. Not up to par with independent restaurants, but pretty typical hotel fare.
