Early morning date is best because this place fills up QUICK. If you want time to chat and be with friends -early is best, the space fills with noise quickly. The food is a refreshing menu that is not the average fare- spice lovers will have a grazing options galore. The coffee is the specialty and they are beautiful. The lemon blueberry ricotta pancakes are a showstopper. Kid friendly and it gets tight in the dining areas. One small bathroom with a line during key times. Order the pancakes they are worth the trip.
The food was amazing but i am not a order on your phone, pay on your phone kind of person. That is the one reason I will not go back. If I am going out to eat I want a server and personal service with a menu I can see. I know it seems to be the new way, it is not for me. I went with a group of 4 people and having one person pay lead to us spending too much time figuring out ordering on one phone. We missed out on time we could have spent visiting.
This is the only place that my guy doesn't need to hit the gym before we go out to eat. The food is light, flavorful, and almost healthy if you don't do what I do -- drink 2 cups of Cafe Astoria coffee and get baked goods. It's delicious food that's not flashy, but still quite instagrammable and fills you up just right. I call it grazing food. The service is quick and good. It's one of our favorite places for coffee dates.
Wow what an absolutely delightful experience my partner and I had at Stella Belle. The cafe was really busy but that didn’t take away from the positive and happy vibes from the staff. The very back of the cafe, where we found a window seat, was so sunny and warm. So cozy.I ordered the shakshuka, my partner ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes, and we split a rainbow matcha latte, and a regular coffee. The Guatemalan light roast was delicious. The matcha latte was gorgeous and beautifully made.Our food came out hot, and I could tell it was really fresh. Oh my goodness the shakshuka was so, so, soooo good! The egg was cooked perfectly and the pita had a little char on it which I love. It was so hearty and ate really similar to a chili.The lemon ricotta pancakes were to. die. for. The lemon curd was perfection. No syrup needed here. They were topped with fresh blueberries.I’ve been meaning to visit Stella Belle’s for a long time and I’m really happy I did. I love this place, I have ordered from here regularly for years. I have yet to be disappointed by anything I have ordered. I especially appreciate the many vegetarian options that are delicious and not an afterthought like they tend to be at other places. I ordered for delivery today through Toast and only received half of my order due to an error by the delivery person. I received a call from Stella Belle saying that they noticed the error and delivered the missing items themselves. They absolutely did not have to do that but I really appreciated it. I will always keep coming back here because it is delicious food prepared by people who care about their business.
My daughter and I have come in almost every morning before school throughout the winter. Stella Belle and its partner, Cafe Astoria, have become one of our absolute favorite spots (I was going to say in the Twin Cities, but really, favorite spots, period.) Food is delicious (crepes, sandwiches, salads, entrees, all great), love that I can get lunch/dinner for breakfast, and the special coffees (Creme Brulee or "Campfire" complete with toasted marshmallow!) are divine. Friendly staff and cozy layout. Will always say yes to Stella Belle :)
This review only reflects the steak and eggs dish. Service was wonderful.IMO, I think the longer cuts of steak work better for this dish than these tiny medallions. The medallions simply looked pitiful on the dish and grew cold quite quickly before I even finished the second one. The dish was further brought down by the frail looking cauliflower florets and greasy sautéed mushroom and spinach stir fry. You can literally see a ring of oil around the wet looking pile of vegetables. Surprisingly, the spinach wasn’t over cooked but they were still covered in oil. The eggs were requested over-easy but looked like they were served at a truck stop (I did not touch anything on the plate when the photo was taken). There was hardly any diners when I stopped by, so my only conclusion is that they must’ve hired a new cook. This dish just doesn’t look anywhere close to what’s been posted here. Although, I’m not giving up on you Stella….I’ll revisit you the next time I’m in town. Everyone deserves a second chance.?
Stella Belle provide my large group and I with excellent service and even better food! I had a crepe, avocado bruschetta, and chai tea and was blow away by how delicious it was! We were thoroughly impressed with how fast it came out and how friendly they were! We will for sure be back in the future!
Amazing atmosphere, very creative menu and everything we had was extremely well executed. Service is fast and pleasant even while extremely busy. This place is amazing!!!
