I love their coffee as always, but today i had to wait over an hour. My son ordered pancakes and after 40 minute finally someone came to told us they had no more pancake mix, so he switched it for a strawberry crepe, he totally disliked it. I ordered a ham and swiss sandwich, after an hour and 20 minutes still no sandwich and no word from anyone so I decided to request a refund and just leave. I couldn’t get a refund at that time, they say they will refund it to my card, so now i’m just waiting..
I never leave reviews but I really liked this place. I was in St Paul about a month ago for a few days, and was looking for a good place for a casual breakfast and place to study. I found Cafe Astoria, and was not disappointed. I ordered a peach smoothie - it was really good. I don't drink coffee, so I can't comment on that.I also really liked the decor and atmosphere/ambience. The staff were very nice as well. I found myself wishing the city where I live had a place like this!

The big reason to go here is because of their stunning coffee drinks. The rainbows and the edible gold are truly sights to see! However, the flavors are not super impressive, and you definitely pay top dollar for presentation. Seating is limited, so don't go during peak times.
I got the Macha and my friend got the Campfire and the drinks were so beautiful. The Turkey Pesto and Swiss and Strawberry Lemon Curd Crepes were generous sizes. Everything taste great and I will be going back. It was a very welcoming atmosphere. Parking is limited so go early...
Love this coffee place. They have huge variety of drinks and some sweet tooth items. Love to be back any time. Tried different kinds of coffee and everyone is amazingly delicious. Now they have a good seating outside so you can spend quality time. They also have some food available too. They have another restaurant attached to it which provides some good pastas too.

Their espresso and the breakfast sandwich here are phenomenal, and the shop is adorable too! Just plan parking ahead and accept a short walk from the car.
Had the miel drink. It was velvety smooth. They used less sweet than other places in the area, which was good in my opinion. The chocolate croissant was flakey and buttery with a chocolate finish. The Frenchy sandwich was flavorful with lots of mushrooms. Definitely, going back.
