Good Tex-Mex in Minnesota of all places. The chicken taco salad from fresh and plentiful. The pork tamales were tasty although the chili gravy could have been a touch spicier. The regular margaritas were excellent and the service was good. Prices make it a great place for family gatherings.
I love Boca Chica. I've been going there since 1991. I usually get Mi Tierra, a combination plate with pollo enchiladas de mole, a sope, and a pork tamale, served with sopa. The hot salsa is amazing

What an amazing place to go to. Felt like I was brought back in time. Easy parking, amazing people working there. We were greeted by a very beautiful person, smiling. Our server was also amazing. Friendly, professional. The Chips and Margaritas were awesome. Food was fresh off the press. Delicious. One our favorite places! Thank you, Kendall and Alexandra
I was very impressed with this restaurant. I hadn’t been here since I was a kid. The staff were all VERY friendly. Even with mask and vaccination mandates. It’s a tough industry these days. Both my friend and I really enjoyed our meal. Delicious fresh guacamole. Light crispy chips. My deep fried taco had tons of beef. Could have used a little sour cream or sauce. Tostada was great too. My friend ordered the chimi and burrito. Overall great experience and food.
In my opinion the best Mexican restaurant in the Twin Cities. Very authentic and good portion sizes as well. As you can see in one of my photos there is freshly grated cheese. If you’re a cheese person this will make all of the difference to you. The staff is nice and they try their best always.They have really good chips and salsa too. Enchiladas are great.
To feel like family, that’s this place. Lunch order was fabulous. Chili rejellanos and enchiladas. Everything is full of flavor, the decor is classy. I am reminded to come again. It was a very cold day today, little cups of Sopa made it so much better. Fabulous service.
Not very busy for lunch on a Monday. Our server was a very nice young man who was unfamiliar with the lunch menu, but his service was impeccable.Our meals were DELICIOUS! We started with the shrimp ceviche which was very nicely done in simplicity and not too filling. I ordered the chile relleno con carne, traditional style in broth. I can not believe I ate it all! My boyfriend ordered the fajita tacos. The beef was so well seasoned he didn't want to put any salsas or sauces on because it could cover the flavor of the steak.The discounted margaritas on Monday was a pleasant surprise, and there's a little something extra special about the salsa.All in all, we'll be eating here again anytime we're in the area.

Amazing food!! More food than you can eat on your plate. Very reasonable prices. Great service. We will definitely be back.
