The eggplant and fries were delicious! The meat was a little dry and not what I was hoping for and lack of grilled veggies like it said it came with! Overall, good prices. Today was takeout only in the restaurant for whatever reason so no comment on the inside.

Decent gyros with great flavor and the tzatziki sauce isn’t super thick. Black Sea is hits the spot for a quick and fresh bite. Pita is a little too flat for my taste, but it’s still enjoyable. The gyro isn’t drenched in sauce so it’s not soggy if you take it home, which is nice, and a perfect lunch the next day. I would come back for something small.

Really depressing experience at Black Sea.. I was excited to try but the Doners were dry and sad. $8 for a depressing small sandwich. One of us got sick after eating, and one of us found a big fly in the lettuce.

Super disappointed since I used to like this place when it was a restaurant. My sandwich had a dead fly in it, and I can’t believe the falafel sandwich doesn’t even come with hummus or tahini. The pita was dry, everything was just dry and sad.

They have a lot of options, and all of them are reasonably priced. The taste is good, the customer service is very good too!!! However, I ordered falafel with spinach and they were very oily. That's the only thing I didn't like, but other than that, everything was good. I'd be back to try another option and their desserts.

Food is delicious and affordable. They no longer have a seating area so we took our food home and realized one of the items was incorrect after we were already home but everything else was great.

At my office we get lunch for the crew every Wed. but only from a local/independently owned restaurant. Today we chose Black Sea and it was a big hit! Even though this place is small they didn't bat an eyelash at our large order for 20 people, it was ready on time and they even helped me carry it to my car! Not to mention the food was delicious. We will be back!

Very tasty doner meat. Good portion, but their prices have gone up. Was expecting a $5 doner, now it's an $8 doner. Still hit the spot tho, and the fries were fresh.

Excellent food, helpful people. Just remember Turkish tzatziki is a bitter lemon, not a cucumber base. Different but very good. I found the black sea searching for the best gyros/donner in the twin cities. It is one of the top two. The other one is the Loon on Lyndale in Minneapolis. Shhh seriously don't tell anyone.

The produce was fresh, the rice was cooked great, the hummus was just fine, while the dolmas where average. However the eggplant and falafel where over fried and most definitely cooked more then once to serve. Like other reviews I read after our visit it seems like this is an ongoing complaint and inconsistency. The fries where the biggest victim of being over fried and likely fried again. I wish we would have made a formal complaint to the owner but honestly we won't bother coming back again.
