Service was greatâ¦..I ordered walleye and it was not good at all. Burgers were better.
Went to Bennett's from an advertisement off the radio offering a free shuttle ride to the Xcel for a concert. Hadn't been before, my wife and I were surprised by the variety of meals and drinks available. Food was great, service "Emma" fantastic and a ride to and from the show with "Dave" our driver was over the top. Made our evening a very enjoyable experience.
Service was a little slow in the beginning but got better after we were seated and placed our orders. Our steaks were cooked to perfection as we wanted and the sides that came with were delicious. It's not a fancy place, just a really good neighborhood bar and restaurant frequented by locals, many of whom bring their children along. Hadn't been there in quite awhile but will not wait so long to visit again with friends.
Dinner was decent but the overall appearance/cleanliness of this establishment definitely needs some attention. This is an iconic dinner supper club atmosphere but requires much updating and replacement of items. Our seat cushion looked like it had been run over by several cars and then put back into the booth area. The wood around the windows appears to be rotting and the temperature inside was muggy. While I realize that there is a staffing shortage at most restaurants, the host who also ended up being our server was not friendly. She did not like questions and was short with her responses, like we were irritating her. We are generally fun and make the most of any situation, life is always about Plan B, so we rolled with the punches last night.
Service was great, the food was outstanding. We had a reservation and our table was ready when we got there.
Food and service are always very good. Nice casual, and not too loud, atmosphere.

Steaks were over cooked and not a drop of seasoning on them. Half an ear of corn on the cob was the veggie. Not impressive. Salad was iceberg lettuce & tiny square croutons. Pot pie dough not cooked inside. Ordered ruben, half hour later was told they were out of rye bread. Wont go back
Emma was great! Food and drink also. Hamburger was delicious
A great place for a steak dinner and cocktails. All the dishes were tasty. Kind of expensive, but this is perhaps unavoidable nowadays. Definitely worth trying out!
